Our cat is in heart failure and is on a lot of medicine, so he's not the simplest case for them to take on but we were so grateful. We've set up a future appointment with our doberman to establish his care here as well.”

It is a little expensive, but I also consider the vaccines and overhead it takes to operate an animal hospital. (divide that fee into 12 months for protection and care!) Very friendly staff.”

“I needed to get my leopard gecko to the vet asap since he seemed to be sick. I called almost 10 places until I found the Lincoln Highway Vet clinic. I had to get my Leo in that week according to another vet I had called and they were able to fit me in last minute. They were very nice and understanding :) Yesterday i had my Leo's appointment and they were very kind and caring, and they loved him very much! They answered all and any questions I had and were respectful, and overall it was a very good first vet experience for my Leo and for me!(first time I've taken an animal to the vet on my own) Thank you for a good visit!! ^-^💕”

When our boy was very sick and being cared for elsewhere, they continued to check on him and support us as much as they could (special shoutout to Lori for taking my hysterical phone calls). Our pups actually like going to the vet because they know they are genuinely loved! I can't imagine taking them anywhere else.”

“Really lovely staff. I brought a found parakeet with a broken wing here. Avian vets are hard to find, but full marks to this vet for even accepting birds at all. I probably should have inquired after pain meds, but derped, and they didn't offer any. I ended up keeping said bird as no one came forward for having lost it and he is still alive and chirping again. They even texted me a few days later to see how he was doing. Love that. 💜”

“I didn't have a great experience with VCA West Shore Animal Hospital (and neither did my friends and neighbors), so I was reluctant to go to another VCA. However, I had no choice as it was a last minute appointment. My cat was experiencing some vomiting and I was at a loss. Now, I see another reviewer attempted to slander Dr. Leann Murphy, which is absolutely ridiculous. And essentially their complaint was about the bill. Newsflash, friend, pets can be expensive. Perhaps consider fish if you don't want to spend for the care of a mammal. My experience with Dr. Murphy was excellent. She did everything she could to exam my anxiously distressed cat before making a careful suggestion to place him under anesthesia so she could closely exam him. The medication she prescribed cleared his vomiting and she said it was due to stress (added another cat to the household). I'm a overly cautious and anxious pet owner, so I had numerous after appointment questions. Guess what? Dr. Murphy always returns my calls. Where most veterinarians would tell you "bring them back in" so they can hit you with another bill, she did not. Friendly staff. Thorough care. The bill was higher than I had anticipated, but that's the fault of the lab (full mark-up blood tests can be expensive), not VCA Smoketown. Yes, I would return to VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital, and yes I would recommend Dr. Leann Murphy.”

“I went here with a very young kitten that was abandoned by her mom. After the vet brought my kitten out from the exam, her eyes were completely clear, and we found out that she is blind. Doctor O. was very informative and she didn't spare any details about the problems that the infection might bring to her later down the road. I am very satisfied with the service I received from everyone here; this is where I will be bringing my kitten from now on.”

“So grateful, still(!), for the Neffsville staff and the kind, gentle way they care for my pets. This morning when I called at 8:00, they had an appointment at 10:10 to see my sick dog. The staff was so nice to me and my boy. No guilt, just good care. Knowing he had an annual check-up next week, they tried to fit that in as well. And they offered me tips on how to save money for his medicine. Dr Rosenbaum was wonderful with him as was the vet tech (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), and the front office staff. Thanks everyone!”
