I went to the walk-in medical facility and was seen by a very capable physician's assistant. I was suffering from a corneal ulceration ("a hole in my eye"). After examining my eye, the PA called my opthomolist and arranged for me to be seen right away even after I was told there was no way they could squeeze me in.
