“I was very excited when I saw the building going up as an American Heritage. I’ve been a longstanding member with this bank so I knew quality banking was on the horizon for the Abington area. Yes early on some things needed tweaking such as finding the right crew to positively carry out American Heritages values. Great employees now and days are very hard to come by. I know first hand American Heritage’s values, with that said I applaud them for training, redirecting and finding good people to hire who believe in staying true to the brand. I’ve been into this branch and over the years many of the other branches all over PA. I’ve have gotten nothing less than what’s come to be expected and that’s A-1 banking and quality interactions with the staff. Great Job with a little over year in. They helped me purchase my dental office and gave me an outstanding loan. They helped me when my children were born, including watching them while I did my banking. They were there for me during COVID. I received my PPP loan through HVB well before any other bank. HVB also, recently, helped me sell my dental practice. “I just took off one star because of a recent visit where I had an appointment for the free notary services. As members, my daughter and I have always used this service with no problems; however, when we arrived for the appointment to simply have my daughter's signature witnessed and notarized to get a copy of her father's death certificate, we were told that they no longer notarize anything other than bank-related/financial items. The person was kind enough to direct us to the nearest auto tag place to find a notary; but nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed.”
