“I’ve got a 1975 Ford F-250 4x4 and wanted to keep the original split ring steel wheels and throw some 10 ply bias ply tires on it. I went to Burns tire to have them do it. They are a really versatile tire shop will do most any job you throw at them. Randy is a very, very nice guy and they did an excellent job with the tires. Burns tire is amazing all the workers are very nice, great prices, and wonderful service. Very highly recommend”

“My family and I were on the way to South Carolina for vacation from Pittsburgh. About an hour into our journey, my check engine light began to flash. We pulled into an Auto Zone off the Waynesburg exit to get a code reading and it told us we had a misfire in our engine. With a car full of kids and luggage, my wife and I were worried about our van so we googled local mechanics. Walt’s Auto Clinic came right up with high ratings so I called, resigned to the reality that it may be a full day until we could continue our trip, but Gene told us to come right over. When we arrived, they were able to pull us into the bay, diagnosis the problem, get parts, and fix the issue, all in an hour! Gene and Chris are good ole boys who know their cars and know how to take care of people. Given the situation and their willingness to take us right away, the cost was very affordable and the customer service was great! Walt’s Auto Clinic saved our vacation and we’re so grateful for them. Please consider Walt’s for your car repair needs.”
“I originally had a panel on my car repaired here several years ago after I was hit. Recently I noticed that the same area had developed cracking and rusting. I reached out to them expecting that, after 5–6 years, there probably wouldn’t be much they could do. However, they stood behind their work and repaired the issue.
They handled the repair quickly and even provided me with a loaner vehicle. The fact that they went above and beyond for a repair that was done years ago shows that they truly honor the commitment to quality work. My car looks great! “Recently passing by Waynesburg on the highway when our steering went stiff, voltage dropped and engine overheated. Pulled over, checked under the hood and didn't see anything obvious. Waited for the engine to cool down. Restarted and managed to exit and drive to a nearby gas station. On closer inspection, the serpentine belt had come off and disappeared. Bought a new one at a local auto parts store, installed it, started up and heard unfriendly noises. Immediately stopped the engine. On further inspection, saw ball bearing on the ground and a metal remnant. Determined that idler pulley was shot. By this time, all local mechanics shops were closed. In the morning, across from where the car was parked, visited a shop to see if they could repair the problem. Let's just say, wasn't impressed with the facilty. That lead me to call Bortz. Explained the problem but the lady I spoke with said they were all booked for the day but could come in and wait and see if we could be taken in. Did so. Soon after the car was in the shop. Although quoted 2 hours of work, ended up being 3; fair enough, unlike the first facility I visited. In summary, had a great experience with Bortz, and we were soon back on the road home to Canada. Thank you.”
