Kate is an amazing soul who truly cares for the puppies she is fostering. I am so happy I was able to adopt from her amazing company. Our baby is adjusting and hoping he will finally be able to know what a good home feels like!

We were so lucky to adopt a puppy from here. The people who work there are so friendly and understanding. They knew a lot about animals and you could tell they take good care of them. All the dogs looked very happy to be there. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

Little Rhody Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue and quarantine facility located in Rhode Island, we strive to find safe homes for underprivileged and neglected dogs. We are made up of a small group of friends who share a love for dogs, with Kate Healey Dubuque being the founder and President of the rescue. All of our animals are rescued from animal shelters in Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee that are considered to be “high kill” shelters. They are then tested for disease, spayed and neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and administered preventions for fleas, ticks and heart worm. We are licensed in the New England States. To date, over 10,000 animals have been saved.
