“I’ve had many cats fixed here over the years and it’s always been great! They call with updates throughout the day to let you know how everything is going. One time we rescued a stray cat and we were able to get him there to be neutered. While he was there they noticed he had a mouth infection, cleaned it up and treated him with antibiotics That was several years ago and that cat sleeps on my son’s pillow now almost every night. Thank you guys for such great service and being so affordable! It seems to be a very busy time for cats needing to be fixed so call sooner than later as they may need to put you on a wait list! $50 deposit is required over the phone to keep the appointment. They also do vaccinations and microchipping. They go over all Pre and post-op instructions making it easy to understand.”

They were booking out nearly 2 months later but when it came time for the actual visit, they were super accommodating and already prepared to deal with my cats severe anxiety during visits because they took care to pay attention to the notes I’d given them and they got his records from his previous vet!The visit was short but thorough! Very happy to have my cat going here.”

A TPLO surgery was done and went very well. My pup is a shy guy yet at each visit he LOVED the staff because they met him where he was at. Now at 9 weeks post op I couldn't be happier! “Had such a great experience with VCA Atwood animal hospital. I have never written a yelp review before but created an account just for this. My dog suffers from seizures and they can be triggered when he is stressed but it is unpredictable when they will happen. I had an appointment scheduled today for an issue with his paw, however two minutes after I walked into the office my dogs seizures were triggered. Immediately the vet and tech were in the waiting room with me, picking up my dog and carrying him back for treatment. They continued to keep a staff member with him for the next two or so hours. They set up a blanket in a room so I could be with my dog but still had someone in there watching over him just incase another seizure occurred. I am so thankful the care my dog received tonight.”

“The only place I will take my pup. She is animal aggressive and selective with most people. She absolutely loves him and has no anxiety going to see him. They text me when it’s clear of animals to come inside and they treat her with such compassion. The vet techs are all amazing and great with her as well. The receptionists are lovely to interact with and are always super sweet. My doctor of choice is Dr. Day and I love how comfortable she is around my German Shepherds. She takes things nice and slow, making my dogs feel comfortable even after one of them had a traumatic experience at a previous clinic. Dr. Day was also amazing enough to learn about the process for OFA Thyroid to complete the health testing for my adult GSD! I haven't had a bad experience here and I highly recommend them!!”

“My little, beautiful Maltese, Mary, was there for 4 days with pyometra and was in bad shape when she was admitted.The doctors and staff went above and beyond for her, and a few of them fell in love with my Mary.At 3 lbs at admittal, I was very worried about her size and her ability to withstand surgery. Lots of times I don't pay anything out of pocket because it's included. Also, they do a lot more than other places. You always get a printed receipt with everything they did along with things they recommend. The staff is always nice.”
“Me and our dogs love this place, great Dr.s and Vet techs, we have a dachshund and Lancashire terrier. Weekend appointments at no extra charge. The hours of operation are the best, I travel for work during the week, knowing I can get a Saturday or Sunday appointment and not have to wait weeks is awesome. As my dogs weigh less than 15 pounds I prefer their shots broken up over a couple of visits and they have no problem doing that for me. Dr. Logan is awesome ??!”
