“I’ve had many cats fixed here over the years and it’s always been great! They call with updates throughout the day to let you know how everything is going. One time we rescued a stray cat and we were able to get him there to be neutered. While he was there they noticed he had a mouth infection, cleaned it up and treated him with antibiotics That was several years ago and that cat sleeps on my son’s pillow now almost every night. Thank you guys for such great service and being so affordable! It seems to be a very busy time for cats needing to be fixed so call sooner than later as they may need to put you on a wait list! $50 deposit is required over the phone to keep the appointment. They also do vaccinations and microchipping. They go over all Pre and post-op instructions making it easy to understand.”

“I recently moved to the area and switched to this vet. Scheduling my 2.5yr old cat for his annual as a new patient was an easy process on the phone. They were booking out nearly 2 months later but when it came time for the actual visit, they were super accommodating and already prepared to deal with my cats severe anxiety during visits because they took care to pay attention to the notes I’d given them and they got his records from his previous vet!The visit was short but thorough! Very happy to have my cat going here.”

Jessica did the intake and took her time gaining Beau's trust. She listened to my concerns and relayed those to Dr. Girard who then came in and was wonderful. “If I could give WAH a 5-star review every time my dogs had an appointment I would. They are just phenomenal through and through. The receptionists are lovely to interact with and are always super sweet. My doctor of choice is Dr. Day and I love how comfortable she is around my German Shepherds. She takes things nice and slow, making my dogs feel comfortable even after one of them had a traumatic experience at a previous clinic. Dr. Day was also amazing enough to learn about the process for OFA Thyroid to complete the health testing for my adult GSD! I haven't had a bad experience here and I highly recommend them!!”

“Had such a great experience with VCA Atwood animal hospital. I have never written a yelp review before but created an account just for this. My dog suffers from seizures and they can be triggered when he is stressed but it is unpredictable when they will happen. I had an appointment scheduled today for an issue with his paw, however two minutes after I walked into the office my dogs seizures were triggered. Immediately the vet and tech were in the waiting room with me, picking up my dog and carrying him back for treatment. They continued to keep a staff member with him for the next two or so hours. They set up a blanket in a room so I could be with my dog but still had someone in there watching over him just incase another seizure occurred. I am so thankful the care my dog received tonight.”

“I took my very nervous anxious cat to North Paws, a couple days ago, I can not commend the vet and staff there enough, they made him feel so comfortable and safe. They were very efficient and gentle towards my cat, Theo, and I can't thank them enough, he had an awful experience with a local groomer which ended in him being hurt (sliced his paw from a picture frame)... from his stress. North Paws is extremely professional and compassionate towards animals. I will absolutely continue using them for Theos medical needs, after what happened to my cat, there is no one else I would trust for to take care of my precious cats needs.”

“The Vets at Ocean State Equine have been up to my boarding facility in Freetown, Massachusetts to see my horse, Duke, 2 times. The Vets and their Vet Techs really know horses and they work quickly and efficiently. They are really nice people.They are also gentle and patient with Duke. All they do is horses and ponies, so you know your horse is going to get the best care.”

“I have personally worked with Dr Linda Farrington in the early 2000's at Northern RI AH. I was her surgery technician . I just moved back home after living 6 years in Atlanta. I live in Somerset and work for Baystate Veterinary . My dog Khloe needed a dental. There was no-one else I trusted than Dr Farrington . I drove 45 mins each way to bring her there. I would have drove hours . My dog is 12 and my service dog and I was concerned but knowing Dr Farrington was doing the surgery I was not worried . Dr Farrington cares about her patients and does everything she can. I have known her to stay after hours and call clients on her day off. Also her prices are more than reasonable. I will never go anyway else. I have worked with many doctors in my 28 year Vet Career. Dr Farrington is the best !!!!!”
