The Defense Commissary Agency is a great place for military members, retirees, DoD civilians, contractors, and dependents to shop. It is described as a true Godsend and a great place with an amazing and great choice of items, a lot of everything, and excellent meat. The produce is fresh and the store is very clean. The staff is always pleasant and the service is excellent, with employees going above and beyond. While inflation is noted, many still prefer shopping here than outside the gate and find excellent savings, especially when buying in bulk. A common complaint is that the self checkout lines get backed up when people with full carts use them, which is seen as a major inconvenience.
Always Blessed & Grateful to have served 32+ Yrs, and able (allowed) to use the many benefits bestowed to us!! This commissary, in my opinion, needs to have more cashiers and open check out lanes. The lines are getting way too long!!
