“Just took our 2011 Jeep Wrangler to Advanced Transmissions. Top notch folks and great service. Rather than just rushing to replace my transmission they did a lot of research and figured out a much less expensive repair would do the job. I highly recommend this place as others did to me.I won’t hesitate to take our vehicles to them.”

“Like most people who drive older model vehicles, I need a reliable person to perform the work arises. Tanner and company have been doing that work on both my vehicles for several years. I would not consider taking my cars anywhere else. Tanner and company are always friendly, do the work in a timely manner, and charge a fair price. I recommend them without reservation.”

“Seems to be a trustworthy mechanic. We took our older forerunner to get looked at for a catty code to be sure it wasn’t just an oxygen sensor and they conducted the proper tests.I will say the quote to repair it was a bit steep, but that may be because of how they source the parts. $125 for a diagnostic was perfectly fair. Also, be weary of taking advice from non-mechanics here, as you should any matter concerning your car. Guy at the front desk claimed that no engine damage can come from leaving the catalytic converter stopped up but mechanic buddy and online research both support the idea that heat and pressure can get backed up into engine.Overall five stars for a much better experience than most car repair places!”

“Upon pulling in, it was unclear of instructions of what to do and where to go, so I followed a sign that said something along the lines of, “Honk before entering.” I was met with a man who was sort of unpleasant and responded with an eye roll, “You’re supposed to park then go inside and ask for help.” User error on my part or better signage could help, but a little kindness goes a long way, especially in customer-facing jobs. I parked and went inside and was met by an associate who was quick to assist me. He was knowledgeable and checked my other tires to cover all of his bases. Typical upselling conversations ensued, which is the name of the game in stores like this. However, the conversation was not pushy or condescending like other auto repair places I’ve visited—genuine concern for the customer and helpful advice on car maintenance. As someone who knows NOTHING about cars, any and all advice is greatly appreciated. When it came to checkout, I was presented options, rather than a pressure to buy one specific brand of tire. I was given options that would work for my vehicle and given explanations of price. This was extremely helpful because I now know why I’m paying what I’m paying, plus an itemized receipt to show exactly how every penny is used. Waiting was pleasant, with free wifi, coffee, clean restrooms, and comfortable seating. I received a text message on the completion of my service, but I was met with about 5-10 more minutes of waiting for my car to be pulled around. While this is a small detail, it still has an effect on customer perception. If my car is done, I should have my car pulled around and ready to hop in, not waiting another ten minutes. Overall, it was a good experience, but minor improvements could be made for ease of customer experience.”

“I recently purchased wheels and tires for both my wife's and my cars. Robert, the store manager, and his crew of employees worked very hard to ensure that we were satisfied every step of the way with both our purchase and the performance of our new wheels and tires. In addition, they were both knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with during every facet of our transaction. I can recommend Rimtyme in Greenville with the most whole hearted enthusiasm.”

“I was greeted by staff before I even walked in, and they were very friendly. I was told my tire change would take 45 minutes at most, but it was done in 15 minutes. The interior is clean and organized, with comfortable chairs to wait in.”
