“The staff at battle vet are absolutely amazing. I bought 2 yorkies from a breeder and one was sick, not sure if it was kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection but it ran through my other puppies. It had me so overwhelmed. Dr battle and his staff made me feel so much better. I recommend them to everyone.”

“While Chapin Vets said they didn't provide care to chickens, they pointed to Dr Sarah Scott, mobile vet, who immediately saw my chick. If not for Chapin Vets assistance my hen might not be alive now.”

“I recently adopted a dog, my sweet Gideon. We took him to Ambassador for his first vet appointment. He was so nervous but they was so tender with him. He came back in to the room wagging his tail and happy. It made me feel good to see him happy during his visit. Very sweet people! Everyone was pleasant!”

“Drs Joe and Erin Tremier, the other vets in their practice, as well as their staff members are some of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever dealt with. They’re great, knowledgeable doctors I always knew I could trust. I’ve been taking my dogs to Ambassador Animal Hospital since before they bought the clinic, and stayed with them because I liked them so much. The staff is equally as competent and kind. This week, Dr Joe had to put my precious Schauzer down because she was old and sick. With Covid procedures, I couldn’t go into the office with my dog, had to leave her for him to work her in. He didn’t string me out, examined her and called me promptly to verify what I had felt, that it was time to let her go. He couldn’t have been kinder as I cried on the phone asking him to help her go to sleep. I received the kindest card from the clinic with a personal note from Dr Joe.Not sure I’ll get another dog, but if I do, I will certainly go back to this practice.”

“The staff here has cared for two of our family dogs. Through the ups and downs, they've always provided compassionate and excellent care for our pets. Reasonable wait times to schedule appts, we've been able to get help when needed for something urgent, and everyone is always friendly and helpful.”

“We love Carolina Paws so much that when we walk by my dog wants to visit them even when he doesn't have an appointment. He comes back from a grooming appointment clean and fluffy, smelling so good, and clipped just right.”

“While this clinic is not open to the public, it is a great benefit to Servicemembers and their families. The prices are low in comparison to other clinics off the installation (Fort Jackson). I never had a dog until my current furry child. All the personnel at the clinic were very helpful with information and so understanding! I got my girl spayed there for half the price I was quoted at another clinic. Additionally, CPT Cole even gave me a courtesy call to let me know how the surgery went before I picked up my girl!!! I'm super happy with this place. The only thing I wish I could change is their available appointments. Understandably, they usually book up quick because priority goes to the Army mission, to include the working dogs and non-animal vet services.”

“We were going to Garners Ferry Animal Hospital when we had an emergency on the weekend. Since Garners Ferry is only open Monday through Friday 8 am- 5pm we had to go to CVETS and found that there could be an 8 hour wait. I called SWAC and they were kind enough to see us within 1.5 hours. The staff and Dr. Bradley were amazing. We decided to see Dr. Cosentino as Milo's regular vet and went in for a meet and greet and to get Milo's Bordetella Vaccine and Flu Vaccine since Garners Ferry Animal Hospital does not, at the time, have the flu vaccine in their office. We have since transferred Milo to SWAH and have not been disappointed. The staff that I have spoken with several times in office and on the phone are professional, accommodating, and friendly! I would highly recommend SWAH to anyone who needs amazing, friendly, and caring veterinarians and staff! Thanks for being there for us and Milo Shandon-Wood!”

“Dr. Weber is the most compassionate vet you will find in the area. Her prices are reasonable and beyond generous when it comes to helping community/homeless pets that we love and feed, but who have no desire to be touched by humans or come indoors. She also will consider the animals' best interest, in terms of compassionate care of old and sick animals. My experiences with Dr. Weber and her team have been life-changing. She helped reinforce my belief that loving my four-legged children means not subjecting them to painful treatments that will only delay the inevitable.”

“We have used the cat clinic for over 9 years now. We recently had to bring a Persian to the clinic for an exam, shots, and to have a lion cut. Dr Carter and her vet tech were wonderful with us and our cat. We highly recommend them .”

“We have only used the grooming service at the Forest Acres Animal Hospital. We love the groomer Kristi. We have had her groom both our dog and cat for several years. She takes good care of our fur babies and does a great job grooming them every time. She is professional and very easy to communicate with.”

“I can't recommend SWAC enough. We first came to them because of their generous urgent care hours. They are open 7 days a week, and late into the evenings during much of the week. We stayed because we were incredibly impressed with the care our pets receive. We have seen and liked every vet in the practice. I have found most of them graduated in their recommendations, offering suggestions for conservative approaches as well as more exploratory ones. When we've needed to get our pets in, they're usually able to see them in 1-2 days. All of the vets and their staff have been great listeners and incredibly gentle with our pets. I have to give a special recognition to Dr. Harris, who we see the most now, and who helped us say goodbye to our beagle mix Violet. He was so gentle with her and with us--showing her affection, listening carefully to our concerns, narrating what we could expect at each stage of the euthanasia process. He knew her background well even though he had not seen her in some time. It was one of the most difficult days of our lives, but Dr. Harris's kindness and respect for Violet's dignity continues to be a source of comfort among otherwise painful memories of that day. I would also recognize Dr. Otis who guided us through a torn CCL with our older dog Luna. He helped us managed her pain and walked us through a more conservative wait and see approach, because we didn't want to put our elderly dog through a surgery she might not need. Under his care, she healed up smoothly in the time-frame he told us to expect. SWAC is expensive--can't sugarcoat that--but the cost of care is well worth it for the quality and compassion of these vets and their staff. Bonus: a separate, quieter wing for cats! Our cat has never had an easier vet experience. Also: we've been impressed with their pandemic precautions. They did full curbside service for the first 18 months, and since had placed people and pets in rooms right away. All business including settling up is done in the room, and as of Nov. 2022, if they see you enter the practice with a mask, their people mask up around you too.”

“Four Paws is the ONLY Vet clinic I recommend to anyone I speak with. I met Dr. Wales in 2012, and since then, Dr. Warren and the ENTIRE team at Four Paws have provided the absolute best care for my French Mastiff Apollo (passed in 2021 at 10 years old), English Bulldog Brutus, and our rescue cat (aka pack leader). TEN STARS!! Highly recommend.”
