Our story began 75 years ago on historic Shem Creek where my Great Grandfather first opened the doors to MT. Pleasant Seafood Company. Some of my mother’s first memories as a child are playing on the docks waiting for the men of our family to return from their day of harvesting. Back then, Mount Pleasant was a quiet shrimping village near the South Carolina coast and home to only 1,500 people. Now, we’re nearing 90,000 and have the great pleasure of serving this community as well as tourists that visit us from around the world.
As the fourth generation, our goal continues to be to provide the best catch on the creek and served with a side of southern hospitality.
