This has to be one of the toughest if not the most tough meat full of sinews I have ever eaten. This company claims the meat gets tougher after 3 days, but I have eaten biltong after a week and never experienced this type of poor quality meat!! ?

I never write reviews, but the slab is absolutely delicious! Definitely won't be my last purchase..... only bad thing is now any time I open a brown bag my dog starts salivating.

We only use USDA or State Inspected meats for our products. We do not use any preservatives, other than natural pickling salts, spices and apple cider vinegar in our manufacturing- and/or fabrication processes. We do not, and never will, use MSG or any other preservatives in our products, simply because we regard it as unhealthy and also it will alter the recipes and will therefore affect the quality and taste of our products. The pioneers, from whom we inherited our recipes, had to preserve their meats in a natural way, because they did not have any other means! We still use the same old natural methods.
