“My grandson was ready to make new friends and get ready for Kindergarten. Our neighbor offered the Swiss Avenue Kindercare as a fantastic place for Z to prepare for “big school.” I visited with the owner Ms Jamie and was pleased to see all classes staffed appropriately and kids that were busy and happy. In short, Z was then placed in the 4-year old class with a seasoned teacher (24 years of experience). Ms Sherry recognized that Z was very capable and made sure he stayed stimulated, eager to learn, and could excel at his own pace. In fact, she did this personal coaching with each child in her class. The kids loved her and each one rose to their personal best. I highly recommend this facility; the staff cares about each child, gently guiding & nurturing good lifelong habits and attitudes!”

“We LOVE Learning Zone! Our little one’s teachers are wonderful and show that they care. The admin and staff actually take the time to learn your names, greet you and talk to you about the day. The kids are rarely crying at all even in the toddler and baby rooms which says a lot about the care they are given. We know her teachers well and I haven’t noticed any turnover. The facility is so thoughtfully laid out. It is all on one level and the playgrounds are appropriately designed for the age of the children using them. They have little bikes, slides, and toys for them to use and no mulch (for the toddlers this is so smart). At first we had our little one at another ‘school’ that was new but with a reputable name. It was a horrible experience. There was turnover, mulch, stairs, and the toddlers were always upset and crying. I am so glad that we decided to mover her here. It is such a welcome contrast!”

“I can't express how much I love this place. I had my son with a nanny until he was 14 months and transitioning here was so easy. They really just care about the kids and it shows.”

“Amber was my Montessori teacher as well as my little sister’s. This was 20 years ago and Miss Amber and her family are still such an important part of my life. Seeing this school grow from Amber’s living room into the amazing community it is today has been such a gift! I love Casa dei Montessori and the Jennings family!!!”

“This school has blessed by family beyond words. All four of my children received an incredible education at CPA and have now launched into the real world with great confidence and grounding. The leadership has vision, energy and a deep desire to pursue the mission of Christian education.”

“I love having my kids here. The teachers emphasize manners and my children act politely at home as they are expected to act politely at school. I love the level of interaction the teacher's have with the students! I feel like my 5 year old engages well with the preschool class, thanks to Ms. Tammy's high expectations. My 5 year old comes home excited to share with me how he can count in Spanish and Japanese. All in all, we love this school!”

“During my sons first week at Rhythm and Rhymes, Lori (the director) told me that there wouldn’t be anywhere else in Nashville that could love my baby the way they do. I will never forget how happy I felt hearing that during such a hard time of going back to work and leaving him. What she said was true! All the teachers and directors truly love my son and it shows. He is so happy to go there each morning and I feel confident that he is being loved and well taken care of while learning so much. He really took off with hitting milestones almost immediately after starting there and he has continued to grow and learn so much! We could not be happier!”

“Our son has thrived at Overbrook - the rigorous curriculum as well as the advanced academics offered through SOAR programming, are wrapped by a truly committed group of teachers and staff. This and the joy and friendships we see he has - and witness in the grass stained pants at the end of a day with a recess well spent! You can feel the attention of the school to the growth of the whole child — physical, mental, and spiritual. Growing up is hard, and we are grateful our son is able to grow and thrive in this loving community.”

“I absolutely love this place. My daughter loves this place she wants to go to school on the weekends. We were in Greenville, MS last yearthe food was different and staff was not dedicated. This experience has been like night and day. The staff is so nice for the most part. My daughter has been to the ballet. She's a picky eater so she doesn't always eat. I'd prefer to send a lunch that's one of my issues with head start and not necessarily the school. Overall I would recommend it and I do often. They went above and beyond to make sure she has what she needs. My daughter is four and I was surprised to see computers in her classroom. She comes home singing all types of song. She's not much of a talker yet but I can tell she is retaining the information she is learning. Also I attended a parenting class that was so informative. It was about ways to deal with the child without yelling or spanking. I have always tried to make spanking my absolute last option but you know that sometimes they can all get besides themselves. I want to be on the same page with her teachers and I have noticed a big change in her attitude. She has improved so much and listens so much better now. It's a fun, caring and emaciate environment.”

“When I was younger this place provided childcare for my mother. It shaped me so much. When I was older and going through hard times St Luke's came through for me once again.”

“The teachers were great even though I was a maniac when I attended ('04-'06). I hated being the Stars. We could've been the Sharks or even the Bulldogs like the middle school next door, but the kids decided on the Stars.”

“My son was on the waiting list for The Gardner School for two years, & when a spot came open I was excited for him, up until that point I had only done research & excited about the idea of him being there, however once he got there, my expectations were EXCEEDED! The staff is amazing, cafeteria serves them amazing & nutritious lunches, uniforms allow the kids to feel good, & they offer so many extra activities that teach them amazing skills. My son takes computer classes, music/drama, amazing athletes, & currently in a cooking class. He is in Ms. Teena’s 4 year old class & I couldn’t be happier with everything she & her assistants are providing him to further enforce what I do for & with him at home educationally. Best choice I have made for my son & family”

“This is one of the best schools hands down! My organization presented a physics presentation and preformed a physics experiment here and the students exceeded our expectations with their level of understanding, engagement and learning. We all were curious about if the students would be able to understand the concepts because lets face it, its some physics that some of us college students don't fully understand, and they told us to not dull the concepts and to not to shy away from the usual verbiage. So we didn't and these students blew it out the park! From the administrators/staff to the students everyone here is amazing. I admire how extremely bright and respectable the students are!”

“Great school for both students and families. Many great school wide events that invites families to participate. Every morning, parents are walking their students to class. The building is SO welcoming. The principal Dr. Gibbs, makes it a priority to get to know parents by name and showers her staff with appreciations. This is a Happy Building. The classroom's grade level standards are posted for parents in many of the classrooms and related arts, so that when families come into the class they know what the children are learning. Students are happy when you see them in the halls. This is a great school.”

“I went to Hattie Cotton from the first grade through the sixth. I loved my time there and as I think back, my teachers were also why. I had Mrs. Tidwell in the 1st, Mrs. Holt in the 3rd and 4th and Miss Agnes in the 5th and 6th. I remember going across the hall from my class and watching on the television with all of the other kids when President John F. Kennedy was shot. I just got this sad, sick feeling thinking about our president being shot. I didn't know anything about politics then and couldn't understand why. I remember moving away and thinking I would never see my friends again and ended up graduating High School in Goodlettsville with two of my Hattie Cotton friends Delores Averitt and Beverly McPherson. I had a beautiful childhood.”

“I have three children in this phenomenal educational facility. This is an excellent Christian educational organization for any grade! Our experience has been nothing but positive, with each teacher and staff member alike. As a parent, I highly recommend this educational facility to anyone who is looking for a positive change to challenge their child educationally, in a completely Christian environment, providing a excellent track record of over a hundred percent of grants, scholarships, and the like upon graduation. No other school can defeat those statistics to date in this area, being north of Nashville. As a prior graduate of a Christian school, there is truly nothing better that you can give your child but, a Christian education. Proverbs 22:6New King James Version (NKJV) “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he/she is old he/she will not depart from it.” Davidson Academy has been a blessing for my family! Each year is a blessing! I pray we are able to attend until my last child reaches her senior year! Best wishes in your search!”
