I found Total Automotive almost a year ago. Every single problem that has come up with my car has been handled with honesty and they do not over charge me. “Not the cheapest place in town, but they did a great and timely job on my Jetta. They replaced my throttle body after first trying to fix the old one. They also inspected my car for other issues, suggested a few things but were never pushy. From my experience, I’d say these guys do good honest work, which is rare these days.”

“We were visiting from out of state and our suburban all of a sudden wouldn't shift into reverse..It was late Friday afternoon, we went to 2 chevy dealerships to see if could service asap as we had to leave town next day. Neither could even analyze our vehicle until the following week! So we went onto Google to see if any local chevy mechanic shops open in the area. Fortunately we found S&J!! We drove straight there and the owner instantly put scanner on vehicle to determine issue, and said he had part in stock and would be able to get us on the road in 2 hours or less. We walked down the road to visit the Lane Auto Museum which btw was fantastic. The time we spent at museum was just about 2 hours and by the time we walked back down to S&J our suburban was fixed and ready to go. These guys are fabulous, very pleasant, knowledgeable and reasonable ? Highly recommend S&J!!Service: Transmission”

“My Chevrolet silverado has a 7 and 1/2 inch lift. I was hit on my front left tire in a parking lot and I had axel damage and some support beams were broken. Nobody wanted to work on it but Mid Tenn tire were ready and willing to fix it from the get go. They did an absolute wonderful job . It drives like a new truck !! I would highly recommend these guys and I will be back..”

“My husband has been taking my car lately but both of us prefer this Jiffy Lube. We live very close to a Valvoline and a Walmart (2-5 minutes). The Jiffy Lube is a little over half an hour away. We both still prefer it. We find them to be very helpful and not overdoing the upselling like other places do. They do try to get us to add extra things from time to time, but it does seem much more reasonable when they do it and it’s not every single time we go. Employees there are much more helpful than at other places in my experience. We often use Groupon deals when we go.”

“Mr. Cooper took care of me when my car had an emergency! I had a belt to break when I was out of town for work. It was a Friday afternoon and I was pushed off from other local repair suppliers and shops to even take a look at my vehicle to find the problem. I knew my vehicle wouldn't make my 2 hour drive home. Mr. Cooper was happy to take a look and repaired my vehicle very fast. I am so appreciative! He and his staff not only did excellent work on my vehicle, they were also so genuine during my time of need. I would recommend anyone to take their car here for repair!”
