Craig and Brent got divorced around the same time. Being single dads, raising their children, they needed child care. They opened up the first produce stand in Brevard, NC (where we are from) and hired their mother to work the stand. This allowed the kids to walk there after school and have someone watching them. Ever since then, the business has flourished.Our family owned the produce a few years before we got into the BBQ business. Now we own and operate two produce stands (TN, and NC), and two different BBQ locations in Tennessee. We also operate mobile food trucks in fairs and festivals.
