On our way back from a family vacation, we hit a bump in the road—literally. Around 5 PM, our car started vibrating, and with daylight fading, we needed help fast. My wife quickly found C & L Auto on Google, and the glowing reviews gave us hope. We pulled in, unsure of what to expect.

Enter Chris—a true professional and an even better human being. Within minutes, he diagnosed the issue, but unfortunately, the parts wouldn’t arrive before closing time. That’s when Chris went above and beyond. Seeing we were stranded in an unfamiliar town with three kids in tow, he personally drove us to a nearby Super 8. No hesitation, no fuss—just genuine kindness.

He even recommended a few local spots to grab dinner, which turned out to be great. The next morning, right on cue at 9:30, Chris called to say our car was ready. Not only was the service fast and flawless, but the price was also incredibly fair—he could’ve charged more, but he didn’t.

“We stopped in Childress for an overnight stay on our way home to Baton Rouge from Colorado. While backing our fifth wheel into a site at Childress Fair Park, the corner of the trailer nose contacted the edge of the rear glass of the truck causing the tempered glass to explode-shatter.I found Childress glass on Google and called them immediately. They searched nation wide and found a replacement that could be delivered in two-three days. After sealing up the rear window, we relocated to J &S RV Ranch, so that we would have sewer and water connections. Childress Glass kept me informed of the UPS tracking status, called me when the glass arrived, drove me back to the camper while they did the work and picked me up when it was finished.The installation is clean and they removed/cleaned up the shattered glass ‘pebbles’ that were EVERYWHERE!
