“About 15 minutes outside of Childress, and on a long road trip, my car skid shield came loose and dragged along the road. I couldn’t get it fixed on my own, so I called Hill’s & the mechanics said they could get it temporarily fixed fast so we could keep driving and get a full repair back home - just what we needed. We were in-and-out in 20 minutes, and it was on the house! Thank you to Nathan and the team at Hill’s for making our road trip still possible.”

“The starter went on my pickup driving from Massachusetts to here then continuing on to Florida. Danny was able to get me back on the road in no time. They got the pickup to the garage and had the truck ready to go in a couple of hours. They also found an issue with the sway bar, let me know about it and repaired it as well. All at a reasonable price and with complete honesty. Great job, Danny. And thank you again. I can continue my trip with peace of mind.”

“Stopped in on my way across the country when I had a fuel injector fail in my 4runner. They didn't have the part I needed, but they reached out to a local mechanic who had just worked on a similar 4runner and really went out of their way to help me out. It was so nice to experience this level of humanity that is so rare anymore.”

“We stopped in Childress for an overnight stay on our way home to Baton Rouge from Colorado. While backing our fifth wheel into a site at Childress Fair Park, the corner of the trailer nose contacted the edge of the rear glass of the truck causing the tempered glass to explode-shatter.I found Childress glass on Google and called them immediately. They searched nation wide and found a replacement that could be delivered in two-three days. After sealing up the rear window, we relocated to J &S RV Ranch, so that we would have sewer and water connections. Childress Glass kept me informed of the UPS tracking status, called me when the glass arrived, drove me back to the camper while they did the work and picked me up when it was finished. The installation is clean and they removed/cleaned up the shattered glass ‘pebbles’ that were EVERYWHERE! They also worked smoothly with my insurance provider which also made the whole ‘mishap’ a lot more bearable. The shop is very impressive; huge, well lit and CLEAN. Thank you Childress Glass!Frank FaucheuxBaton Rouge”

“Was headed back to houston and my tire on my truck popped. They met me in about 20 min and got me back on the road fast as heck and didn't break the bank either. If you in the vicinity of these guys and need a tire i highly recommend and this is coming from a truck driver who's dealt with countless repair shops along this route. Great people and great service at great prices!”

“Yay! They have showers and accept fleet fuel cards. It has a shabby-industrial look, but they clearly work hard to keep bathrooms, etc, clean. Girl behind the counter needs some lessons in customer service, though. Yes, we get it. You're unhappy. I'm sorry.”

“Was having tire issues while driving through town on a long road trip. Finally found the tires we needed at Walmart, but had some cross threaded studs that Walmart is not authorized to fix. Walmart employees got me in contact with Chris at C&L Auto. Chris bent over backwards to help us. He not only replaced the studs, he also hauled the wheels to Walmart so they could mount and balance them while he and his employee worked on the studs. We had three small dogs with us and he kindly offered his office to keep them cool while the work was completed. Both the team at Walmart and C&L Auto took excellent care of us and made a tough situation as pleasant as possible. Everyone’s kindness and hard work were so appreciated. Would highly recommend.”
