“Edited review: I am now thoroughly convinced that the people at Home depot are part of a community, willing to listen, help, and do whatever it takes to keep the League City and surrounding area supplied to the best of their abilities. These people are legitimately courteous, respectful, and overall willing to go above and beyond what is necessary to get a job done. This last week I had a problem with my recently purchased Tuff shed. My review with them will remain the same because they only fixed the problem when coerced by a major company, not because it was the right thing to do. They just didn't want their contract with Home depot jeopardized. I get it. But as a consumer, I judge their motivations, and they aren't ethical. The manager at Home depot Listened to me when I called. He heard me, understood that this was not an acceptable problem with a shed that was less than a month old, and got on the problem right away. He called Tuff Shed Corporate office and advocated on my behalf. Got a hold of people I could never dream of speaking to. Rattled some cages. Got something done. Within a few hours, he had someone out to fix my shed- THAT DAY. What a guy. That is why I changed my review. I debated whether to leave my old review up or not, but I decided that if you wanted to read on, to see the issue and how upset I was, and how grateful I am at having a manager go out of his way (not having any clue about this review, by the way, he was just doing his job) to help out a customer who had been wronged by a company that they were partnering with, a company who was sending representatives to sit out in their parking lot day in and day out, saying hi to people, shake hands in good faith, and then swindle people right under their noses, that you should have the right to see it. Funny, because I have left almost a dozen voicemails and emails before leaving these yelp reviews. Funny how that works... Here's the original review: I am so disappointed. I expected more from a company as reputable as this. I bought a basic 10x12 Tuff Shed from the League City Home Depot in mid March. Had it installed April 1st (I know, foreshadowing, right?!?) Less than a month after installation, the problems have started. My door started sticking. There is a gap in the back where the light comes. And now, exactly one month after install, the door will not even close. AT ALL. I put everything in that shed, and now I can't even lock it. How can I feel safe, knowing I can't even lock up my shed at night? Knowing I can't even close the door? When I called for help, I got the run around. Speaks a great deal for the kindness of salesmen... their smiles stop the minute you sign across the dotted line and hand them their check. What did this slime ball say? He literally told me to go on Craigslist to find someone to fix it for me. Excuse me? Really? You don't warranty your work? Why did I go with a name brand then? But I digress...and kept reading the fine print, searching the 3 point font for anything that might be of use. So far all I have is a headache. I then called customer service warranty department to see if they could help. They were nicer, at least. Assured me someone would be out to fix the problem. Funny thing is, that day came and went, and no one ever showed up. No one called. No one even rescheduled. Nothing. And now I just get a "leave a message after the tone" recording. I am beginning to wonder just how reputable this company really is. Tuff Shed, shame on you. You are swindling people out of their hard earned money, giving them the impression that you back up your work when you have no interest in doing anything but lining your own pockets. Home Depot, you should be ashamed of yourself as well, doing business with sleazy company like this. With a company that went from excellent customer service to utilizing used car salesmen tactics for a quick sale. Figure this re”

“I love this place! I only ever go to the pet store side, they have great prices on hay for small animals (guinea pigs) and a decent selection of dog treats that aren't just a bunch of chemicals thrown together. I've never had an issue with the staff being rude, they just don't seem too excited to be there sometimes, but they are younger so I can't necessarily complain. I can't say anything about the grooming side, I've personally never used them. However I do have a few friends that swear by them, and they are the only groomers they'll go to.”

“I purchased two Sabal Palms. One Florida Sabal, and one Texas Sabal. The trees are beautiful and healthy. I lost a tree 2 yeas ago in the freeze, and I have been looking for a replacement for quite a while. Palm professionals, had lots of trees to choose from, I picked them out, they came and installed them. The process was easy, they are helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The install crew, did an amazing job. They put the trees in with nearby plants, and didn't damage a thing. I bought pretty bug trees, Texas Sabal was 4.5feet, the Florida Sabal, 6.5ft. Start to finish was no stress and the overall job well done.Today I had a follow up appointment, they came out and checked the health of the palms, and we have a bill of good health.”

“Joe's is my pet food/supply and hibiscus spot! I really love this place since my sis told me about it, they have great prices on quality pet food, treats, and other pet supplies then on top of them being a good feed store they also have a really cool small nursery attached and Courtney who is often at the front desk there has to honestly be one of the most knowledgeable hibiscus people I've been able to find in this area which has been very nice to be able to learn a thing or two from her I have probably bought 10 or 12 of my hibiscus from her. I can't say enough about how all of the staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Would recommend this spot to any of my friends and I usually try to go there every other week myself”

“Great locally owned feed store. I get my dog food here, my dog groomed here, my pig shavings and medicine and chickens. The service is super friendly and the owner is very kind and responsive. I highly recommend. Also the groomer inside is wonderful and affordable!”

“I ordered 4 yards of garden soil on a Saturday. They promised delivery in 2 hours and it was dumped in the spot I asked for within the promised time frame. The girl who answered the phone was pleasant and efficiently handled my call. The driver of the truck was quick and careful of our power lines. He had to be a skilled driver to get into our driveway and dump the load quickly without doing any damage. I will call again.”
