“I'm highlighting a feature likely less known in some Whole Food stores. That is a bar, yes, you heard me correctly. The Richardson, TX store has a 16 tap bar with a variety of beers that cycle through with different options throughout the year. In addition, they have wine by the glass. The best part is if they don't have something that wets your whistle, you can pick out a beverage from the store shelves, bring it to the bartender, and they will open and serve it to you. The bartenders are all personable and do a great job of hearing what you like and suggesting options from what they have available. The area has seating to enjoy their in store ready to go food options. They host different events - trivia nights, live music, and tap takeovers. In the nicer months there are even groups who gather there run a few miles and come back to wind down and socialize. This hidden gem has been the highlight of moving to the area and having a place easy to get to and hang out...oh and the ability to grab any needed groceries on your way out isn't a bad thing either!”

“Okay, get ready because I GOT SOME THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS STORE AND IT'S EMPLOYEES. One in particular. To start off, I've been going to this store for like the last 3 years. In the last, eh, year and a half maybe, they've totally improved the store all around, from the layout of the products on the floor to the kindness and helpfulness of the employees. Which leads me to Alan. Alan is the store manager and this dude is a walking encyclopedia of fitness and nutrition information, he also makes DAMN sure you get the absolute best bang for your buck. You can come into the store with any question about anything from physiology to specific chemical compounds in the products on the shelves, and he will give you a detailed explanation of its purpose and effects on the body, a comparison to other products to find out which best suits your needs, and finally, the absolute best deal that can be given. I have no reason to go anywhere else with my nutritional/supplement/fitness needs as long as Alan still works in that store.”

“I went in a few weeks ago looking for a heart safe fat burner, the girl working gave me showed me one, said it was a non stimulant and would be safe. I couldn't read the print on the bottle because it was so small, I didn't have my glasses. I got home and it had an outrageous amount of caffeine. It was basically a pre workout.I came back to return it, and found out the girl had been let go.Lizzie was there to help me this time. She took me directly to the product I needed. “Yesterday was mine and my son’s first time here and it was spectacular! McKenna was very kind and patient with my son who is on the spectrum. Usually, when I have a teenager taking my order, I feel rushed and disrespected, but she is the complete opposite. She was actively having a conversation with me and didn’t show annoyance and wasn’t trying to find a way to close it and as I’ve said before, patient. I was blown away as she seemed to have advanced knowledge on the menu; she was throwing out suggestions left and right. Not only that, but the smoothie she made was delicious! I will 100% be back here again.”
