“I'm gonna be honest, the hours are terrible, but everything else was amazing. I have been trying to get my prescription from the sherman walgreens for a month and they can never seem to get it. I switched to pottsboro and they had it by the next day. Not only that but the customer service experience was 10x better than anything I've dealt with in Sherman. If it means I'll get the medicine I need and the people are nice to me, I'll take time off work to pick up my medicine.”
“Always friendly and correct, correct really matters to me. They work hard to give me a great price too. I have been with them for well over a decade (previous name, Sherman Pharmacy) and I won't go anywhere else because I don't have to and I don't want to. They do compounds and deliveries too! I love the place and especially the people there.”
“Just what I was looking for in a local pharmacy, what a gem. After being with the national chains and getting the runaround with less than truthful promises this is a breath of fresh air. I’ll be transferring my prescriptions to them as they come due. Great job and keeping it local.”
“I drive a Tesla, so I rarely visit gas stations anymore—I usually just plug into the magical wall of electricity at home. But today I had to take my other car, a Mustang, out for gas. Don’t worry, I still remember how to operate a gas pump… it hasn’t been that long.
One thing I do appreciate about this place is that there’s always an employee on duty, so if anything goes sideways, you’ve got backup. The lines can get long, but they move at a respectable pace. Not rabbit fast, not turtle slow—somewhere in the middle. At least it’s not snail mode, which is always a win.
Overall, a good experience. Still, I’d rather be at home charging up quietly and pretending gasoline is someone else’s problem.”

“I use Med Choice Pharmacy for all my pharmaceutical needs. Susan and the other pharmacists there are awesome and always informative. It is a first rate pharmacy with the feel of the old local pharmacy where the employees always knew who you were and took time to have conversation with you. Something you never get from the crowded chain drug stores.”

“I just switched to this pharmacy literally yesterday and they had my meds ready to be picked up so fast! And one of them wasn’t fully in stock and they got them in stock crazy quick. The girl who answers the phone (I cannot remember her name I’m so sorry) is so nice and answers any questions very respectfully and friendly. Highly recommend this pharmacy definitely over the crappy CVS, Walmart, etc in Sherman. If you’re looking for a GOOD pharmacy service and are tired of bigger chains like I was, definitely go with Genoa. And I’m not sure if this has anything to do with Genoa directly, but I’m self pay (no health insurance) and all of my prescriptions were actually dramatically lower in cost here. One was over $20 at Walmart, only $8 at Genoa. Also, they don’t ask you a million random questions. (Walmart would ask me personal random questions that had nothing to do with my medications!) and they did that every single month before they would fill my medications. So far very happy with Genoa.”
“I see the review from a year ago. To that - I'll say if you have a specialty or highly demanded drug, or one that can never wait, use a box pharmacy & save yourself the hassle so that you never have to wait for a supply & have extended hours. We have to use common sense unfortunately. Now - I had the best service ever after just getting conflicting info at CVS with no explanation. I'm trying to get care for my child from 50 miles away & the ladies helping me even offered to have my family stay in the car to ensure safety & comfort. Thankfully it didn't apply, but the fact they offered is great! They were very helpful & accommodating, made sure they had the Rx before my mom was about to drive up, & explained everything to expect. You'll never get that level of personal care from a box store. Brand name stores come in handy when you need flexibility but you can't ever beat the places like this for reliability”
