“My Jaxson was taken there after an incident at Puppergarten. They took GREAT care of him. I spoke with the doctor prior to his surgery, she explained everything and assured me he would be fine. He was!! The young ladies I visited with during pick up were friendly, engaging and were still loving on my Jaxson. I was greeted when I arrived and taken care of quickly. I have no complaints!”

“The older receptionist in the front unfortunately was very rude to me when I came in, yelled at me in front of various personnel. It was very embarrassing and I was considering leaving at that point. Except the sweetest nurse came to assist me as she noticed I was struggling. Doctor Wheeless was super sweet and amazing at explaining. Like mentioned above Nurse Susan couldn't have had a better experience with her, she was extremely considerate, knowledgeable and sweet and I can just go on and on about her. If it weren't for them I would have given a very low rating, but people like them don't deserve it. However the front older receptionist could use some mannerism. So unfortunate.”

“Pet Medical Center of Duncanville has excellent pet service and professional staff. They are considerate, caring, and compassionate. I would recommend them to any pet owner who is looking for professional veterinarian services. I did not get a surprise bill and everything is explained in detail upfront. I love how they treated me- the customer and my Wolfie. They have gained my trust and a customer for life. Thanks so much for being genuine- Pet Medical Center of Duncanville.”

“Our 4 year old female Eurasier was unaltered and developed pyometra unexpectedly. Drs Owen and Stanfill and the staff did everything in their power to get us in to get her checked out before the holiday weekend, even driving down from north Dallas to perform emergency surgery. They worked to help us figure out payment options and save us the additional stress and cost of an ER visit. We really lucked out in our choice of vet several years ago and will continue to come here as long as we live in the area. They are insightful, caring, and kind, and we’ve personally seen them catch things with family members’ pets that their usual vet (NOT one of the vets here) botched. They saved our beloved pet’s life, and we will be forever grateful.”

“I had the most incredible visit at Lancaster Vet today. Dr Shari Bohanan, Conner (going back to Tx A&M tomorrow) and Brandon were so reassuring when I brought my lab in for a needle biopsy for a tumor on her leg. They were efficient, professional, kind and reassuring. I got a call from Dr Bohanan a few hours later explaining our options. We will be loyal patrons to Lancaster Vet with our 3 additional dogs and 2 cats. Thankyou Dr Bohanan, Conner (get good grades in school, we are all routing for you) and Brandon for taking such good care of my sweet Emma. We will be Back! SheilahStorch”

“Dr Welsh and her staff are amazing. Dr Welsh is calm and factual. She is compassionate and non-judgmental and she listens. They follow up after serious issues, without fail. Her prices are exceedingly fair for the level of service provided. As far as taking the animals to the back, their equipment is in the back. I’m absolutely certain that if asked, a pet parent could accompany their animal to the back. As for people who say 1. “they lied and told me my pet would die”, Dr. W would not say ‘would’ - she’s not like that. She would say “maybe” or “might”. 2. “they wouldn’t get my animal in” or 3. “they referred us to Mansfield ER” (a GREAT PLACE), I have the following comments. 1. Sometimes we roll the dice in life. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Glad his dog didn’t die. That doesn’t make the Dr. bad or evil. She doesn’t prefer surgery. 2. Yes. Sometimes they can’t get our animals in. Grow up. Who raised these people? I suppose they’re the same ones who cut in line - anywhere. It’s not Multiplicity. Dr. Welsh can’t clone herself because your animal is sick. 3. Yes, they refer patients out when they are full. Don’t people’s parents teach them the world doesn’t revolve around them? I have the utmost respect for individuals who choose to pursue animal health, as people can be self absorbed, overly emotional, and spew out one star reviews with slight to no provocation. Dr. Welsh and her staff have cared for my animals for years. They have been full at times, referred me out at times, and given me options for my situation that I didn’t love sometimes. I’m not a vet. She is. Thank goodness we have people like Dr W who are willing to deal with our humanity to help our fur babies.”

“Didn't visit this location, but I do have to say they young lady who answered my call was really nice and helpful. We went out of her way to help me when I wasn't able to get a hold of my vet.”

“I worked there and loved everyone I worked with. The vet and his wife were amazing and I even adopted a dog they had rescued. They had her for the first four years of her life and I have had her since. Gabby is the best little couch potato.”

“Took my fur baby to Banfield Pet Hospital in Dallas. I suspected my baby wasn't feeling well, so I wanted to get him checked out. Staff was great, unfortunately he has lymphoma. Dr. Trentand Dr. Medina were awesome. Dr. Trent followed up by phone and he was able to answer my questions. I still feel a little lost on next steps, but I've done my research on what's best. The Wellness plan has been worth the monthly investment over the past 14 years. Thank you Banfield and Petsmart for being part of our lives for so long.”

“Most importantly, they took their time to get to know our dog, Max. It didn't feel like a conveyor line, like some other places we've visited.Very kind and caring professionals. They made sure to present all options and costs while making it clear that there was no pressure for certain things, and explained the reasoning for and against options I asked about. It wasn't a game to see how much money they could get me to spend in one visit.”
