“Started working at the nearby Goody Goody Liquor and needed a quick bite to eat for dinner break. Found a roast beef sandwich from their deli, which was delicious. Looks like I found a regular place to eat while I'm at work. Don't stop at eating from their deli, the store will also meet your grocery needs”

“Lovely location with friendly staff, although could use more staff at the deli (always empty so half the time I give up and leave, half the time I wait for someone to come by) and at the self checkout. Love the floral section, and bakery too. Always plenty of carts and free parking. Good sales and coupons, too, if you download the app. This is my go-to grocery in Fort Worth.”

“I attempted to post the below statement on September 26, 2023 regarding an adverse experience at Fiesta but it didn't post. However, considering a subsequent adverse event that transpired today (October 2, 2023), I am reposting and will be adding additional comment in this post or a subsequent post.(Original Post)FIVE STARS FOR THE STORE MANAGER, BUT ZERO STARS FOR THE SECURITY GUARD!I was getting my car fixed at the Firestone (across the street from Fiesta) and I brought my bike with me to ride to Planet Finess to workout. I stopped at Fiesta to get a Gatorade to drink with clear backpack where the inside contents are clearly visible. As I walked in, I contacted security and stated that I wanted to get a Gatorade and asked if I can take my bag with me or can I leave it up front by the cashier. The security guard (who was a female) said "No" you can't bring backpacks in here,....but here's the kicker! Another customer walked in with a backpack along with a baby, but the security guard didn't say anything to her. I questioned the security guard and asked why is she allowed to come in with a backpack and I'm not. The security guard responded by saying "I don't speak English"; however, she had just stated that I could not come in with a back pack in English. Afterwards, she stated (in English), that the lady had a baby so she can come in with a backpack. (Note: But wait, I thought that she couldnt speak Engish !)I asked for manager and the store manager came and greeted me with outsanding professionalism! I instantly felt like a star! This gentleman is real deal and employed common sense rather than potential discriminatory practices. We talked for roughly 30 minutes about a variety of things, but to make long story short, I was able to purchase my drink and move on.I've shopped at this location for a long time and it has come a long ways. The new store manager is the real deal and a great addition to the store and the wider community. As a community activist, public official, retired veteran, etc..., It is nice to know that this store has such outstanding leadership at the helm! I'm not sure how they're gonna resolve the issue with the security guard, but I trust that something will be done considering the promises made by the manager.Update: (Fast forward to today October 1, 2023).I was on my way to Planet Fitness to workout. I stopped by Fiesta to purchase an energy drink and a PowerAide. As I walked through the door I saw the same female security guard talking to another employee. I ignored her and went to find an energy drink and a Power Aide drink. After locating the Power Aide drink, (in the back of the store), I noticed the security guard near my vicinity (by the coinstar). I ignored her and got in line (which was long) to pay for my items. As I looked to my left I noticed the same lady that the security guard was talking to originallt constantly staring at me. I ignored it, but as looked to my left, the security guard had moved about 10 feet from me and was staring in my direction too. At first, I ignored it, but after a while I became annoyed and frowned my face at her and stated "why are staring at me". A few minutes later, the outstanding store manager opened up another register (#4), so I darted to that register. As soon as I went to register #4, the security guard repositioned herself from where she was to a position (where I assume) she could see me. As I paid for my stuff and walked out, the security guard was having a discussion with the same lady that she was talking to initially. Both were starring at me and talking, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcolmed. To document the incident, I pulled out my phone and took a picture of them as I walked out the door.Comments:I'm not sure what is going on at this location, but this is the second time within a week that I feel that I've been unjustly targetted and profiled. This behavior is dangerous because of the potential civil implications. (Note: The picture was blurred ”

“Great gas prices, decent beer selection, and friendly and fast service earn this Circle K four stars. I live a short walk from this convenience store, making it a frequent destination for beer, snacks, and gas. The workers are quick and friendly. The gas pumps are older, but functional. And the parking lot is excessively uneven due to age. Because of that I short one star. Otherwise, a strong and serviceable Circle K!”

“I was pleased with this place. It being Texas, the store has a definite Southwest flair to it, with an abundance of Latin American/Mexican choices, including some chorizo sausages that looked massive and amazing. Overall, the store had good choices and we found everything we were looking for. The store was also clean and tidy, and the service was good. I would shop here a lot if I lived in the area. The only thing it didn't have that I would have liked were Spanish language periodicals - newspapers and magazines. The cashier said they had newspapers near the registers, and when I walked over there was nothing there. But that was very minor, I'm just trying to brush up on my Spanish.”

“There are things to appreciate about WinCo, mainly the reasonable prices on basically everything. Personally, that's my favorite thing about this store. If there are certain gluten free items that you purchase you might have to search a little harder. And honestly, depending on what you need, come up empty- handed. In what has become the typical situation, WinCo does push the issue with self checkout by having one million registers and about 2 cashiers working at any given time. Even if you do get a cashier be fully prepared to bag your items yourself because once the cashier rings you up and hands you the receipt you're on your own buddy. And WinCo does not accept credit cards, don't even try it. Debit and cash are how shopping is done here. One last thing, if you like prepared hot food from the grocery store deli I suggest avoiding lemon pepper wings because the only flavor coming through, rather strongly, is salt. Keep in mind, WinCo is not really a specialty grocery store in any way.”

“We decided to try this location today since it was convenient to our other errands. I was surprised at how much this Walmart actually had inside. We found some amazing brands and flavors plus we did not see any empty shelves! The robot was out cleaning the floors and the employees were all working hard to keep the store tidy and organized. I observed a few employees gathering pickup orders. Checking out was different because... there were NO lanes with an actual person : O we had to use scan and go which wasn't terrible. We needed assistance though since we bought wine, but the manager was kind. No issues!! I would recommend shopping here if you're close by, not nearly as many people as a regular super center and easy to find what you're looking for!!”

“No wait, friendly staff, very helpful. Application process is easy, and when you are approved, they send you a confirmation number, then you go to the store and pick up your cash- super easy. If you're unable to pick up your cash in person, they direct deposit it into your bank account. If you need to change your auto debit date, you just call them and let them know and they will work with you. They will also refinance your loan if you can't pay it off in the correct amount of time. Several locations all over Texas! They helped save my butt when I lived I. Houston during the hurricane and had to frantically stock up on supplies for at least 2 weeks at the last minute, and then again when there was a mixup on how much rent I owed to my leasing company.”
