“Adopted a new family member today. She is the second pup we have adopted from ADL on Naco, the first one we’ve had for over a decade and I swear she understands English. I picked up Ginger today (new name is London) and it was obvious that everyone at ADL just loved what they did so much! Raven specifically was the adoption counselor who met with me to make sure our home was a proper fit — puppies especially, a lot of energy, gotta know what you’re getting into — and the amount of time, care, and genuine passion she had for the animals and what they did at ADL was just… beyond words. I feel very confident not only in the care and health of our new addition, but also that I can reach out to ADL if I have any further questions. That facility is just an amazing resource for San Antonio and we will continue to refer people there with loving homes in search of a new furry addition to their family.”

“We had our first visit Dr. Huffman yesterday, and he is absolutely amazing, as is the rest of his team, especially Irene!From calling me back same-day to discuss imaging/lameness/injections questions I had(before we’d even been to the clinic yet), recommending a lameness exam PRIOR to doing imaging(which can be costly so I appreciate him not jumping straight to that), taking his time and doing a MUCH more thorough exam than our previous vet who did the PPE, he showed us all around our horses mouth and teeth(he’s very mouth shy so we haven’t been able to see in there), he took out a skeletal diagram to show us exactly where the injections go and how it helps to lubricate and move the joint. I feel like he took extra time and care after telling him everything we’ve been through with our horse since purchasing him 8 months ago. He was patient with all of our questions, very down to earth, and even though he had his next patient waiting, he didn’t make us feel rushed at all. They offer a wellness program that I’ve not seen offered anywhere else, and it’s a valuable program. I’m thankful he was recommended to us, and glad to have him as our vet now!”
