“I am SOOOOOO happy I found this place. I had my car with another mechanic for over 64 days, he kept breaking part after part. When I finally got my car back, the engine light turned on (which wasn’t the problem in the first place) so we looked up some places near us and found them! Just ended up being an O2 sensor that needed to be replaced, and they had it done so fast. Not only are the staff so friendly and amazing, but they genuinely know what they’re doing and care about the people they’re doing it for. “I want to give a huge thank you to Jesse at Mike Palmer Automotive. Even though they didn’t end up servicing my vehicle, his honesty and willingness to help made a huge impact. When I called and shared what the dealership had told me, he immediately recognized several red flags and strongly urged me to get a second opinion.
Jesse took the time to guide me on what questions to ask and even recommended another shop to check things out. I followed his advice, and I’m so glad I did. The second diagnosis came back positive and ended up saving me $10,000.

“You know, these days, you don't get a lot of honesty from people in the service industry that are working on your car or plumbers, or anything of that nature. And recently, I had the experience of working with master tech. I had purchased a aftermarket exhaust system for my truck. Put it on, it didn't quite fit. And it had new catalytic converters on it, and I called them to ask them what it would cost to put a new system on it that actually fit. And they said, well, why do we need to do that? Why don't we just fix what's wrong with it? And save you some money, and so I did. I took it to them because I had other shops, quoting me from $700 to $1500. And they all knew the same exact information that it had a new system on it with new catalytic converters, but nobody was willing to be honest, and even suggest that we just fixed the fitment issue and call it good. And then I called these guys, and boy, was I surprised they suggested we just fix it. And we did, and it was a lot less money, and it passed emissions. And the truck is out on the road. Doing great, so for that, I really appreciate these guys. And they will be my shop of choice from this point on. Because of that, one little gesture of honesty and helping me save money instead of looking out for their bottom dollar. And I know, companies need to look out for making their own money, and if you do enough of these, where you gain customers. Because of your honesty, then you get far more than just a big check, one time going out. The door so thank you, master autotech. You guys are the best.”

“If you're in Salt Lake City or the surrounding areas, I can't recommend this shop enough. I have a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic that has 170,000 miles and Antolin at this shop has helped me reach these miles with the work he has done. He has done everything from fixing an oil leak, changing spark plugs and head gaskets, and my air pump to pass emissions. All this work was done with very reasonable pricing. Not only is the pricing reasonable, if you have the time he will explain to you what the issue is and what the parts do that need to be changed out or fixed. He will even show you the old parts that were swapped out. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I'm trying to stay away from the car market as long as possible due to high prices and interests and this shop has helped me with that. He is straight to the point. If he can't fix it he will be honest and let you know. I can't recommend this shop enough.”

“I came in with a difficult situation with my car. The car needed the engine replaced along with a number of ancillary parts. They ran into problems with the replacement engine, but were able to take care of all the issues, large and small.

“we were heading to North Dakota from Yuma, Arizona, and had to stop in Salt Lake to get brake pads because my right wheel started hanging up. we also were towing a 24 foot toy hauler behind us so we had a heavy load. and I wasn’t too keen about having to put them on myself with the heat and having been on the road all day long plus Salt Lake City traffic . I was recommended to run over and see Carlos by the parts store here as he was just around the corner and it was late in the afternoon. he had closed early today because he was working on rebuilding an engine for a friend and a customer so I knocked on the shop door and he opened, after hearing my predicament he happily said pull the rig on in and l will do it. wiper prices were more than fair, the waiting room was clean, air conditioning, and had a monster TV on the wall. we were out of there back on the road in less than 1.4 hours and happy. this man is a very caring person and wants his customers taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone..”
