“Winwood has been so great to our family! Both of my children had never been in daycare before attending Winwood. The staff and directors have welcomed our family in with open arms. My children love their teachers and both Katy and Jenn. Winwood has been very accommodating when it came to my children’s allergies and keeping their center a very safe and loving environment for all the children and staff that are at this location. My oldest child is autistic and the staff at winwood have been great with my son and have helped him feel more comfortable and included in all activities inside and outside of the classroom. Thank you Winwood!”

“I can’t express to you the appreciation I have for this school! They take amazing care of our kids and our boys have never been more at ease or happier. We see progress in their development DAILY and the teachers communicate with us very well. The registration was easy and straightforward. The app with our kids provides us direct access to their teacher and the center director. The facility is clean and updated. I highly encourage you to come here. You won’t regret it.”

“Our son joined the Goddard family around 18 months old after a fairly abysmal experience at another daycare. From day 1 we knew Goddard was different. They cultivate an amazingly warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment and culture. The teachers are all top notch, educated, and clearly care deeply about the children. The staff and director/owner are awesome and when you talk to them you’ll feel like you’ve known them for years. Just a great learning environment overall that also allows the kids to be kids and thrive in their own personality and identity. We love the school and more importantly our now 2+ year old toddler loves the school and is flourishing in every aspect. We highly recommend this school!”

“Kindercare Fairfax deserves ALL the stars. We switched my four-year-old from a rather extreme play-based school to Kindercare in late summer. The switch has been a pretty big adjustment for us but the teachers in the pre-K room are so patient and communicative. Ms. Latavia, Ms. Raven, and Ms. Yuri are amazing and make me feel like my son is safe and cared for while with them. Even after more challenging days for him, my kiddo’s favorite part of his day is school. The director and assistant director are also amazing and just seem interested in you and your kid. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this school and the people in it ?”

“Extremely welcoming staff! My daughter moved mid-year and the transition was flawless, most importantly for her emotional transition at this age. Love the caring atmosphere at the school - seems like every staff member KNOWS the kids, even if they don't directly teach them!”

“Highly recommend anyone seeking for their children to tour multiple prospective child care facilities. Summer of 2022, we toured 5 and Chesterbrook Academy was the clear choice for our family, for multiple reasons. At the time, our 2.5 and 3.5 year old daughters had a surprisingly natural connection to the staff and facility we didn't experience with the others. My husband and I were pleasantly impressed throughout the tour. The facility is bright and clean, odor free, clutter free, very organized, beautifully decorated and colorful. Our family of 4 were greeted by Principal Jenn, who is calm, warm and welcoming. Each room has a description of staff and their work history. Many have been there for many years including Principal Jenn and Vice Principal Sherri, both whom are highly favored, very attentive to, and sought after by many of the children including our own. In the beginning, our youngest had a very hard time adjusting to leaving mommy and morning transitions were tough for months! Her teachers were so patient and comforting for those months long mornings and we are so grateful and appreciative of their unwavering support of our child. We have an app to check our child's day to day activities, photos, curriculum, and receive daily progress reports. There's also a messaging feature with quick responses to teachers and principals. Our first full year was a great success! There's many activities and monthly events to make for fun and enjoyable experiences. Our children also have dance lessons and soccer lessons incorporated within the school day. We have begun our second year here and our girls are off to a great start! Although the commute time is a bit longer than preferred, commuter routes couldn't be more convenient for this location.... Can't change traffic. Overall, it's been a great investment and experience for our family to see our children thrive. Being a multicultural family, the diversity of staff and children is an integral element we also appreciate. Good luck with your journey.”

“The school had once in a lifetime opportunities. In 2012 when the 5th grade went on a field trip to a slave house, they all met the first lady. The AAP program is excellent. And almost all the teachers are supportive and caring.”

“My son never went to a preschool or daycare before this, and he loves coming in every day! The school has lots of opportunities for the children and I really feel my son has learned so much from coming here. MSCDC has more than adequately prepared my child for Kindergarten!”

“My son went to this Pre-School past 3 years. We had an amazing experience! They have a really good program for 2-year-olds, 3 and 4-year-old kids, and pre-kindergarten. And also the after-school program is really helpful for working parents. Science, Music, and Library in their specials for everyday programs. I do recommend Pender Hill Pre-School which is looking just for a half-day program (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and a stay-after-school program (1:00 PM - 3 PM) it's one of the best Pre-School!!”

“I joined this congregation over 25 years ago. It is perfectly located off Ox and Braddock Road near the campus of George Mason University. The congregation members are friendly and very welcoming to visitors. Also the building is used for many community meetings. ♥️? very prayerful and mission orientated people.”

“I cannot describe how much I love this place for our kids. Miss Leigh and miss Amani (who manage the place) are so thoughtful and kind. Everybody LOVES them. And the teachers are all fantastic.”

“I am a former student of Navy, and all in all, it was a good experience, the learning environment was good, you were challenged well, and most of the teachers were very relaxed, chilled, and funny (particularly my fourth and sixth grade teacher; shoutouts to him). However, like any other school it had its problems. I don’t think some of the teachers confronted bullying as well as they should have. Also, there are some very partial teachers one in particular ( the PE teacher who didn’t even know my name despite me being in his class for most of my years and always yells at boys ). Although, despite the complaints, Navy is a good school and I would definitely recommend it to any parents looking for a school.”

“This daycare is PHENOMENAL! We’ve been attending since June and are so amazed by them. They truly care about your child like their own, they work so hard to teach and make them enjoy their days there, but also learning new things all the time. They send pictures of our daughter to us every day she’s there, multiple times each day! We can tell she loves it there. In particular, Ms. Nadine does an amazing job with her and is so compassionate for her job!!! The entire staff has been a blessing. They do arts and crafts with them and I am LIVING for the cute little hand/footprint art work they sent me home for Halloween! I work long hours and my husband being military means an unpredictable schedule and no family close- they have worked so well with us on timing and even staying late when needed.. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They honestly go above and beyond, and deserve more credit. Thank you BTP, and Maureen- you’ve done a wonderful job with this facility, thank you thank you thank you!!”

“Our son's loves kindergarten at Mosvy Woods. The staff we have had to talk to have been very kind and helpful. We also use the facilities at Mosby for county sports and they are pretty decent. Good playground and our son loves the school lunches”

“My two kids have been going to Rise & Shine for 3 years, and we could not be happier with it. It has many of the perks of a larger daycare center (an app where we can see photos and updates and easily communicate with the teachers, in-school activities like dance and soccer, classes separated by age) but feels like a small community, where every teacher knows my kids well, even if they have never been in their class. My kids have learned so much at Rise & Shine (including Spanish!) and have been cared for so well - across the board, their teachers have been kind, loving, and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend it.”

“Our son has been enrolled at the center since he was in Infants and is now in the Twos program. Every single one of his teachers are warm, nurturing, and so welcoming. They provide developmentally age appropriate activities for the children daily and we love receiving the updates through the app. Our son was receiving occupation and physical therapy but graduated last year and we know that he was receiving so much support from the activities he was engaging in all day at the center. Huge shout out to Ms. Miriam (Center Director) and Ms. Lali (Assistant Director) for providing families with great communication and family events. Ms. Hala, Ms. Sherry, Ms. Jasmin, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Che, Ms. Yasmine, Ms. Jannah, Ms. Iris, Ms. Nevin, and Ms. Megan went above and beyond for our son. The staff at the center are an extension of our family and we will always be grateful to them.”

“Wow what a program! Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. Ms. Renata has done an extraordinary job with making this program feel like home. The staff here are so warm and loving it made me want to go to the school myself! The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I’m very thankful to Renata and the whole team at Guidepost Montessori for such an awesome experience!”

“As our little man prepares for kindergarten we are SO SAD to say goodbye (at least until next summer) to Sparkles! They have loved and cared for our son and our family from his infancy (at the Crystal City location) through childhood. We tried another preschool for a season but he was miserable and Sparkles! welcomed him back like a long-lost relative. Sparkles! is family-owned and every person in the school truly cares for each child as for their own. They have hours for the commuting parent and are excellent partners for single-parent and working families. Their community programs, enrichment activities, and optional sports programs are exceptional. They have a top-notch curriculum. If you are expecting or just considering child care, apply now!”

“My daughter attended the school and had a positive experience for the most part. Like all schools, some teachers are better than others. Building is in good physical shape and grounds are well-cared for. The location is off the beaten track (unusual for FCPS schools) so it's a quiet environment.”

“My daughter has attended Childtime Fairfax for 7.5yrs since she was 12 weeks old. They have been brilliant the entire time but particularly amazing since Agnes took over as director of the center. She guided us through COVID keeping everyone safe and keeping the center open so the children could continue to safely socialize and parents could continue to work. The teachers work continuously with the children following a play-based curriculum that results in them being more than prepared for school once they become of age, and able to follow instruction, be courteous to friends and be able to sit still for 5-10 mins at a time with focus. Beyond that being open even when Fairfax county schools are closed and providing a parents night out every month have been invaluable for our family. The only reason we are leaving is that now a 2nd grader, my daughter wants to go to SACC with her school friends. Cannot recommend ChildTime of Fairfax more.”
