There were no appts available but Dr Walker graciously offered to fit him between her appointments. I dropped him off and came back later that evening and my pup was feeling so much better. “An emergency visit if truly necessary is always going to be expensive, stressful, and traumatic. But as a trauma nurse myself, I was greatly impressed with the facility, staff, and care. I did not stay professional when it was my own babies. I was in hysterics, covered in their blood in the middle of the night with my husband deployed overseas. My girls are my whole world. The staff at VVC remained calm and professional, diligent in providing quick care and reassuring me every step of the way. The facility was spotlessly clean, and I noted plenty of equipment I would comfortably use on human patients in my emergency department. They triaged appropriately, taking my critical girl straight back to control bleeding and making my other one wait overnight for stitching as they cared for other patients. As the only 24hr ER nearby, we simply could not do without them and I am so grateful for the staff who endure overnight shifts to provide care to this community. You have my gratitude and respect.”

When I first moved here I took my cats to another vet in Stafford and I was never happy. Once I found Fredericksburg Animal hospital I knew I would stick with them as long as I live here. “We had a phenomenal first visit at this clinic. I had messed up our appointment date for a completely different day and all of the nurses and Dr. Powers made time for us to still be seen today. Every vet tech and receptionist came to say hello to our little baby and made her feel so welcomed despite her shy demeanor. We knew right away she was in good hands. They went over all of our vaccination records and health checks thoroughly to make sure they were up to date with her. Dr. Powers then came in and was so good with our baby girl. She answered all of our hundreds of questions and even got back to us after we left about some other questions we had. Definitely had a very welcoming visit here. I love that they send flea and tick prevention to my house, so we are never without coverage, and it is included with my monthly payment. For annual dental cleaning, they always make sure my baby is comfortable. It cost around 80 dollars to groom each, but Maggie does a excellent job and we trust her with our dogs. We have been coming to Maggie for a years. As for her grooming we give that 5 stars.”
