“Ellen's has everything you need for a country store. Their food is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and the convenience can't be beat. If you are in a rush, you can always call ahead to place your order and it will be ready once you get there.”

“For a small town grocery store, this company is the best! Has lots of brands and services you can't find in other local grocery food stores. Employees are always asking if they can help you. Great service and ready-to-go fried chicken, side dishes, and desserts!”

“We were just driving through the area on a day trip. It's a local grocery store with typical local foods, but the ice cream is worth the stop. Very thick and creamy. Friendly folks behind the counter.”

“The only non-independent grocery store in Northumberland County. If you live here, you shop here. Main complaint is that they sometimes need more employees on Friday afternoon-evenings, as the area swells with "come-heres" on the weekends. Gets a little backed up”

“This was our first time at this Walmart as we just moved to the area. Our first interaction was at Customer Service where one of the managers, Lakia (Im probably spelling her name wrong) was amazingly patient with a very difficult customer for an extended period of time. Not only was she kind, but she went above and beyond to help this customer. Bravo! She stood out because she was incredibly professional and is a great example of how a manger should be! I wish there were more employees like her! A while later, as my family and I shopped the store, we asked for assistance from Janice Roberson as she was stocking shelves down an aisle. I asked her where I could find an item and she basically grunted and mumbled as she waved me and my kids away. I asked her to repeat herself and she told me she doesn't know and "every store is different" and shooing me in a direction, while not even pausing her task. She was outright rude and even my kids were shocked. Having been a manager in a major retail store, I understand there is a wide range of professionalism and lack there of. These two women show the extremes of the scale. The store was in good order, decently stocked (I understand Covid has caused some issues) and most employees were courteous and welcoming. The parking lot was clean as was the inside of the store. Keep up the good work!”

“Shop here one or two times a day. Best biscuits ffg or breakfast, I can fuel up and go. If you want locally processed steak or fresh seafood for dinner just stop in. Always friendly and convenient. I highly recommend to anyone.”

“Went yesterday during a rain storm. The store was busy and the self check out line was insane. I was very surprised to see they had at least 5 registers with live cashiers running them. Another employee came and got myself and 3 or 4 other people out of a line and opened up another register. It went way quicker than I expected. Excellent customer service!”
