“Stopped by to have a new TPMS sensor installed since one of mine was dead. Every other place wanted to do full diagnostics, full replacement, programming, and balancing. Had I gone that route, I would have spent hundreds on a $40 problem. Instead, I found this wonderful establishment. The owner is extremely transparent, happy to help, and replaced my TPMS sensor in record time. All the while, his attention to detail was spot on. Had a great conversation with the owner after the work was done, and I can assure you his integrity extends beyond his work. Rare find. Highly recommended!”

“Left Northern Virginia with some firewood in my utility trailer when I noticed the old tires had significant dry rot. Hoped they would make it to Central Virginia - but called Blue Ridge on the way, and the office person checked with her service crew and they had my sized tires in stock. Stopped by, the service man was very helpful, and had a higher load range tire for nearly the same price. Office personnel were SUPER friendly, too. Remember, I was in spending $250 for two tires, not thousands on a trailer, and they were as helpful as if I was. I completely recommend Blue Ridge, and when I am in the market for a new trailer, will go nowhere else.”

“Darrel at Williams Garage Towing & Recovery is the nicest person and so helpful! He towed my SUV when my daughter and I broke down on our way home from a hockey tournament in northern Virginia. It was late at night and snowing/sleeting. I told him we were from out of town and it would take at least 2 hours for someone to come get us and he’ll us get our stuff from the SUV. He made sure we would stay warm and told me to call back if anything changed. He came out right when I called him back once my sister was there to pick us up. He recommended local garages so that I would not have to tow my SUV so far home. In the end he was able to fix my SUV himself. He definitely goes above and beyond! It’s hard in this day and time to find people that truly care and want to help others. 100% would recommend him and his business to anyone in the Charlottesville or Ruckersville surrounding areas.Service: Car towing”

“First of all I've known the owner for many years and it's painful to write this. I dropped a truck off for inspection. It failed, and I asked for an estimate which nearly a week later he told me it would be just under $650.00 for everything. I told him to proceed with it. Another week goes by and I call to check the status and John's reply was oh its been ready I just forgot to call you. So I knew I couldn't make it there before he closed so I asked could I pay him over the phone and he could leave the keys under the floor Mat and lock the truck up and I will bring the spare key and pick it up after hours. He agree and I went by there and my truck was left unlocked with the key in the ignition and the receipt was on the seat. I opened it and was shocked because I was quoted 648 and change and I was billed $904.00 and some change. I immediately called John and left a message for him to call me because there was a good amount of difference in what I was charged versus what I was quoted. 3 days later still no call back so I left a 2nd msg. 2 more days go by I leave 2 more messages no reply so the next day I call again leaving a 5th message over a span of 8 days and never got 1 returned call. On the failed inspection print out it failed because of brakes, exhaust, and steering. Now on the invoice the breakdown of parts show the steering parts and labor to install them, also the new exhaust and labor to install it and nothing about installing any brakes or no charge for any brake repair but I got a new sticker to show for. All I wanted was a returned call and an explanation of what the extra was for or if by chance it was a simple mistake. But John refuses to pickup the phone and call me back even after 5 messages over 8 days. Never again*Update* John reached out and made the corrections. His answering machine had messed up and all the messages came through at one time. So he made the corrections and all is good. Thanks John”

“Taking your car in for repairs shouldnt be a nightmare. If it is, you didnt go to Clores. My family and I have been taking our cars here for years. Even when my parents moved, they will go out of their way to have their cars worked on by Mr. Clore. Very personable and a bit cheaper on his rates than most all the shops in town. He does not do tires but can usually get you in with a nearby shop that does. Clores always seems to go that extra mile to help and it is very good business practice.”

“I stumbled upon this place while driving from Atlanta Georgia to Gainesville Virginia, when my car stopped accelerating past 20 to 25 mph. I was able to get my car into the parking lot of this place, but unfortunately for me they were closed. There was no way I was going to get my car home to my parents house that night so I wanted to leave them a note, thankfully there were still two mechanics working so I informed them of my situation and one of them was nice enough to quickly diagnose my car based on A quick test drive. He told me they would not be able to take a look at it until the morning but promised me it would be the first car they got too. Next day he called and informed me what was wrong with my car and were able to fix it by noon. This is not to say that every issue with a car can be fixed this quickly, that I understand, but thankfully mine was fixable in a quick time frame as I needed to return back to Atlanta Georgia. Also their fees were so reasonable and they did not try to sell me on a bunch of other things. My parents were especially thankful, and may even use them again in the future even though they are a good hour and 15 minutes from their house.Services: Auto maintenance”
