“My son went here for after school and my daughter is going here for the last year. I am happy the teachers are very loving and patient. My daughter has had bad bouts of separation anxiety and they handled it really well. Yes there has been some staff changes but in a Covid world I am unsure how anyone would not, its a tougher world now.”

“My daughter has been going here for only a few months but I've been very happy with our experience. She looks forward to school and doesn't want to leave sometimes. The staff is always friendly and responsive. It's an older house but the classrooms are all really clean and no smells. I wish we had an update or two like pictures during the day like some places but that's my only complaint.”

“I could not be more happy with this school, my 2.5 year old son started 2 weeks ago, he has an autism diagnosis and his teachers have been SO wonderful. Ms. Riley and Ms. Avery (and all the floating teachers) have been so kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I used to be so stressed and worried at his previous school and the relief of knowing he is well taken care of now is priceless. I really appreciate working with the director & assistant director, Matt and Hannah. They are so nice, capable, and positive. So happy our son ended up here!”

“My son started in the middle of the Pandemic. The staff here are very responsive and take all precautions, we feel this is a safe place for my child to go. My son enjoys his day and asks to come on the weekend. Many thanks to all the staff and would recommend this place to all my friends.”

“We are very glad to have chosen Bright Horizons, Issaquah as a daycare for our 11 month old. It's been a little more than a month since he started going to the daycare, and it's been a pleasant one.It was pretty nerve-wracking sending over our boy to a daycare for the first time, and that too amid COVID. But, the team handled it very well. We had an onboarding call set up by the daycare director Ms. Stacy with Ms. Heather and Ms. Angel. They answered all of our concerns about health and safety (esp. in relation to COVID), planning for the initial days and further, understanding more about the kiddo so that he can transition well and have a good time there, and what to expect on the first day. With that, the first day went better than anticipated. It's been a month so far, and our boy seems to be having a great time there. We enjoy getting periodic updates about his activities, and his photographs on the app throughout the day. The curriculum and the activities are geared not only towards the child having a good time but also towards cognitive development. These include learning about various textures, playing with musical instruments, being aware of the surrounding, and other activities to improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination etc.”

“The Goddard School did a great job watching and educating our kids. They open at 7:00am and close at 6:00, which was perfect for our family since my wife and I both work. The owners, Catherine and Scott did a fantastic job hiring competent staff and running the behind the scenes stuff. Brenna, one of the directors, was always available for questions at the front desk. I felt very comfortable with my kids at the Goddard School and have recommended to several of my co-workers.”

“This place has a lower than average score, so I feel compelled to share our experience. When we were searching for preschools for my three year old, the reviews really had me concerned about this place. Sounds like a lot of them were a result of the former director, although we didn't join until the new leadership team came in, so I cannot speak to that. What I can share is that this place deserves 100 out of 5 stars, and here's why:My child LOVES coming to school here. Her pre-k teachers, Miss Cynthia and Miss Kalli, are exceptional with the children and she always has amazing things to say about them every single day. Most mornings, my daughter struggles with being in a good mood (not a morning person), and Miss Cynthia is always there with a big hug and laughs, so by the time I walk out the door, my little one could care less if I'm there or not lol. Miss Kalli has the biggest heart and is always welcoming, warm, and fantastic with the kids. I couldn't ask for better adults to care for my child, honestly. The other teachers (I think she's mentioned Ms. May) are also so friendly and great with every child.I also want to brag on the newer director, Gabrielle, and her assistant director, Peiyin. They are both TOP-NOTCH with staying in communication and are prompt to respond if we ever have questions or concerns. You won't ever be wondering or left hanging if you have a question or concern. The school uses an app called Sprout About, which allows you to have live feed footage of your child UNLESS they are playing outside. It's been a great peace of mind for us as we navigate our child being away from us for the first time in her life. The app also records any accidents, how much of meals/snacks they eat, and if they have accidents. The school is VERY secured. Each family gets a code to access the building, and once in, you will check your child in/out via a tablet. The school provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack, and they will update you on how much your kid eats. The facility itself is always clean, usually has tranquil music playing, and they are excellent about sanitizing. They do not wear masks, and this is due to the fact that growing brains need to see mouth movements to learn speech and language. They follow COVID protocol and are mindful of keeping clean. We cannot thank the Children's Courtyard of Issaquah enough for being amazing. The price tag is much better than other similar schools in the area, and we found that even some of the smaller schools don't measure up to the level of service and care that this location provides. If you are on the fence, I really encourage you to give it a chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.”
