“Finally I made it here. I love a good thrift store find. This thrift store did not disappoint. Loads of things to find here. From kitchen, toys, furniture, shoes, clothes and much more! Two stories and kept clean and organized. If you need one glass or twelve this is your spot. Prices are clearly posted and easy to see. Upstairs are loads of clothes to go through. Three dressing rooms to try on your finds. I really enjoyed this thrift store and look forward to visiting again. Cheers and SYOP.”

“A practical organization that loves women into their best selves and helps them find meaningful work. Helping with the outside is only part of it, there's training, peer support, a mentor network, and everything it takes to give women a big boost into employment.”

“I love Lucky dog! I’ve been going there to buy and sell merchandise since I was in college. They are always helpful, cool, and they have a great social media presence. Keep it up!”

“I like this shop especially because of the atmosphere. The inner environment is bright, friendly, and cheerful. This is very different from many others, where the light is dim and you cannot even see the condition clearly. Staff is very nice and attentive, not pushy at all. Good for shy people like me!!”

“I’ve been shopping at this location for years and the new layout of the store is very inviting and open. Haven’t been in for a few months and the store is extremely clean and well organized! The staff is always friendly and helpful when I have questions or need advice on projects I’m doing and So much cheaper then going to Lowe’s or Home Depot for the same items I can also find at habitat for a fraction of the price!”

“Amazing people who work there! They obviously love what they do! They make shopping fun! Highly recommend this shop especially in comparison to the neighboring consignment store! Night and day difference!”

“The staff is incredibly friendly. Jason and the women here remember me and my kids by name and it’s overall such a great place. Prices are great and better than the Goodwill across the street. There are two floors here but it’s a bummer for people in wheelchairs or strollers because there’s no elevator to go up.”

“Keep returning to this little gem, volunteer staff members are friendly and helpful and it's always a fun treasure hunt. While small in size the selection is quite good, name brand items for clothing, shoes and accessories, great finds in the kitchen section and lots of vintage crystal, silver, porcelain sets. They also have color coded tags with 50-75% off and rotate their selections frequently. Love this place!”

“Awesome shop based on donations from the community to help support the Japanese Community center. Ever changing supply of cool Japanese items, some common and some rare.”

“This store is full of goodies. However, if you try to donate please call before going. Two times in the last 6 months I've been refused when I tried to donate. Evidently they have more donations than they can handle. I still enjoy shopping here. You must call ahead to leave any donations!”

“Very small store. They dont have the variety the other stores have due to the size and space. This is a great place for UW students to get stuff. Wish they had more room.”

“Gratitude to LLTS for masking Thursdays. This is disability justice at work, small acts of community safety that enacts harm reduction for people with disability to be able to return to thrift knowing Thursdays are safe-enough. such small brilliant strategy, everyone should do this!”

“What is not to love? The latest quality brands and styles in all sizes for what the original owner paid in taxes and now you can wear for years. Great, friendly service, large, clean dressing rooms and 1 week return on everything with receipt. Finally, spend your money here, engage your community and give locals a job.”

“Can it get better than recycling for a good cause donated hardwood furniture, gently used loveseats, and couches? It can. This Restore has new home goods overstock like queen memory foam mattresses, linen sheets, butcher block countertop, and knitted throws right now. Proceeds go to building affordable housing through a network of volunteers. If you forget to bring your measuring tape, just ask the friendly staff for help. This is a place where hope in humanity is restored even in the smallest ways.”

“I heard about Lucky Dog from a friend who is a huge fan of the store on the Ave, and I am so glad I decided to check it out. They had an AMAZING selection of dunks, vintage tees, and designer bags. I ended up leaving with 2 Louis Vuitton bags at an extremely reasonable price. The owner was so friendly and all of the staff was very helpful.”

“I appreciate how organized the store is. Everything is labeled well and organized by sizes. I saw many new items with tags on it. They still seem to have reasonable pricing on the items I looked at. Staff was helpful and scattered throughout the store to help.”

“Wonderful store! The remodel looks beautiful. Lots of light to shop by. The volunteers are more than willing to help you find whatever your needs are. Every Tuesday is 20%off for seniors.”

“An absolute thrifter's GEM!It's a little disorganized, but they only have a few people on staff. And honestly it comes down to sloppy customers that just throw things were they don't belong. Other than that, they have a great selection of used items. I noticed that they even have some brand new items that were donated directly by local brands that were extremely discounted. I picked up some great items for under $20!”

“So sad this place closed. I liked thrifting there and I remember volunteering here while I was in high school during the summer breaks for community service hours. This was such a neat store. They’d make us iron out the clothes with a steamer and the items were well curated. I hope this store reopens again….”

“I've shopped here since I was a kid and find good things consistently for me, the kid and friends. However, It's time to return to later closing hours. It was 9pm close time pre pandemic and now its 7pm. I don't usually get off work until 7pm and it opens so late I can't get in before work. Very frustrating. Please return to the 8 or 9pm closing time.”

“The store itself, convenient and always something good to find more often than not.If you are dropping things off, expect a line. If there is a line, be prepared to sit in it. If you don't want to wait, then leave. I today on November 27th have been sitting in this line for an hour now. I am right up front although they're not letting anybody in because they are packing a truck. It's just how it is.It would be helpful if somebody who works at the Goodwill gave people a heads up as to what was going on. When I got to the 25 minute mark of waiting, I had called. The gal that I spoke to whose name I did not get was super kind. When I waited for another 25 minutes and called, that was not so much the case. "Evelyn" if that is his real name, absolutely did not need to be as rude as he or they were. Perhaps a bunch of people were calling, I get that. Had I called and was angry I would understand that. Not the case. I had nowhere to be, I could have sat out there another hour until the drop off line closed. No need to be rude.I wish a better system was in play.So again, for those donating, if there's a wait, be prepared to wait. Honking the horn does nothing”

“I want to share my experience with this store. My family and I just started shopping ? and I love just about everything when entering the store. The staffs are wonderful, the selections are amazing.Every time we walk in Channel & Leo & one of other person (tall big guy, really sweet and kind, sorry I forgot his name). But everytime we walk in they always welcome us. Chanel always made sure we get the help that we needed and always asked us if there's something we don't see on the floor let her know and she'll double check for the items. Always going above and beyond. They are so chill back and doing their jobs while having fun. FIVE STAR!!Just absolutely genuine, nice, sweet people with great service working here. This store is so lucky to have them!!-jen.”

“Friendly staff and lots of cheap used stuff for sale. I just moved back and managed to find a nice whole set of dishes, 3 bowls, 3 small plates, and 4 large plates all for $24. The pot and pan were cheap and in great condition.”

“Was a nice stop here today. Calmer than the one closer to Seattle on Dearborn. My Son brought me here, found some new gently used clothing and a new Cotopaxi purse brand new for a great deal. Lunch bag too was new with tags. There are a lot of things I wish they carried, but I guess it depends on donations too. I like their pots and pans sections. Dishes n cookware too. Still an awesome stop and great finds!”
