“We rescued a sweet but very large Mastiff Mix puppy that had been mistreated. She was very fearful of the vet. The staff and especially the vets (Dr Steven’s and another vet on the following week whose name sadly escapes me) were absolutely amazing!
They are helping turn this fearful dogs experience all around! She’s mending her heart and they are a part of that. I can’t stress enough how much this can change a pets life when the vet isn’t a fearful place. She’s healing beautifully from her flea allergy and we hope her leg will as well. “Our family has been using South Hill Vet Hospital for about 17 yrs now, We love them, we just miss Dr Lawrence to pieces, Dr Chang is wonderful and we see her often. Our Big floofy boy saw the groomer Monday July 8th, we love his cut. He is a Great Pyrenees Clumber Spaniel mix, as he's gotten older he has become allergic to himself. He gets hot spots especially in the hotter months, due to his super long thick coat, we can miss the hot spots, so shaving him helps... Kuddos to a job well done!! ( photos are before & after, we took a few lbs of fur iff this guy!)”

“Dr Kate took great care of my first dogs until the time came to send them to the Rainbow Bridge. Then she helped us make their passing easy (for the dogs) when that time came. It was hell for us, but she was so wonderful and comforting. Now we have a new "kid", and never gave a thought of taking Gracie Mae to anyone else. She is still a lovely, caring person.”
