“Our son started at Kiddie Academy when he was 1 years old and stayed for 10 months, when we moved to a different state. We LOVED Kiddie Academy. The teachers were all so sweet and caring. The staff were very accommodating, understanding, and communicative. We HIGHLY recommend Kiddie Academy! One of the saddest parts of moving states was leaving Kiddie Academy.”

“My toddler goes to SELC Admiral 1 and we LOVE it. Mirna and Paloma in the toddler room are the most wonderful teachers we could hope for. They care for our toddler like he is one of their own. It is such a relief to know that he enjoys going there every day and that he is well cared for. The teachers are also great at communicating what he did each day and how he is doing. Finding the right daycare is stressful and I am so glad we chose SELC Early Learning Center Admiral 1.”

“At Interlake kids are really at the center of things. My preschooler knows the names of the admin team as well as the teachers in her classroom, because they all really want to spend time around kids. I have found Interlake community members adaptable, interested in child safety and development, diversity-minded, and kind. The staff and teachers are eager to work with parents, and the emergent curriculum lets children lead and succeed. The facility is a quirky old house that lends itself to phrases like "drop off is at the hobbit door". That space, combined with the great meals cooked in-house each day, give the center a homey feel. Inside the preschool classrooms there are traditional tiny tables and activity spaces for free play, as well as quiet 'loft' spaces filled with soft materials and sensory toys for times when kids need a space to themselves. Emotional learning is as much a part of the day as drawing and dramatic play. Each age group has a large play space outdoors, with toys as well as natural materials to explore in all seasons. At pick up time, it's hard to convince my kiddo to leave these spaces!”

“I’ve been a ukulele student with Seattle Drum School for several years. It’s awesome to have a coach that meets me where I’m at. The SDS is a welcoming community for all.”

“My son and I are very happy with KinderCare! The staff is great and my son is always so excited to go to daycare. I think their communication is great, It's nice how much they keep us parent's updated through out the day using an app that they use. They helped me potty train my son and overall they have just been very helpful to us.”

“My 4-year old has been going to Alpha for over a year now. The staff is great. They all have a lot of experience with the little ones, which was quickly evident to me as my little one is quite shy and needed some coaxing to stay. The teachers are always enthusiastic to engage with the kiddos, very caring and introducing new and fun topics. My daughter was excited to share facts about planets that she learned in school. She enjoys a range of indoor and outdoor activities, including crafts, writing, math at Alpha. She's always excited to bring her work home and show it to us. A monthly parent's night out is also a nice thing they offer. We took a little break last term but still attended the monthly parent's night out as my daughter really enjoyed seeing her community. We are now back full time!”

“As a family who received quality early head start 25+ years ago, it is an honor for me to return as a part of the Denise Louie Education Center (DLEC) team where the same passion and commitment continues in promoting school and life readiness through multicultural early learning services to families like mines across king county.I was once shared that when you find passion in your work, you don't work another day in your life. I enjoy coming in everyday where it's not just what you do that matters, but also who you are and how you aspire grow is important too.”

“We absolutely loved visiting Bright Horizons at Interbay for back upcare. My daughter was in the KP classroom and my son was in Early Preschool. The teachers were very helpful in engaging my children during drop off as they were hesitant to be in a new place, and I got wonderful updates in my daily report email at the end of the day.”

“UPrep has been such a great place for our family. Both our boys (2019 and 2021) began in 6th grade and have loved it! While they are very different students, they each found great friends and lots of ways to engage and learn at UPrep. One loves science and theatre tech while the other athletics and humanities, but they both have tried new things like Model UN, robotics and photography. UPrep’s supportive teachers have created a culture where kids feel free to experiment with things they haven’t done before. Academics are rigorous, but kids support each other with lots of collaboration and student-directed learning so it feels really positive rather than overly competitive. The school has always embraced cutting edge curriculum like their intensives program where kids spend 3 weeks focusing completely on one area of study, LaunchPad, UPrep’s senior project, and Global Online Academy where students learn as part of a global community with expert teachers in small group classes. The athletics program has an inclusive no-cut policy and teaches all the important lessons it should like commitment, sportsmanship and the importance of being a good teammate. The parent/guardian community is welcoming and we have enjoyed volunteering and making lots of lasting friendships. Finally, we can’t say enough about the outstanding college counseling office after having our first son go through the college search process under their expert guidance and end up at the perfect college for him! So clearly we love UPrep and highly recommend it!”

“Our daughter has been attending full-time for almost a year now and my wife and I couldn't be happier! Our daughter has enjoyed every day.The teachers are extremely dedicated and will often take the time to discuss your child, both the strengths they observe and the developmental milestones they are helping with.Day to day the kids always get outdoors (rain or shine), time for developmental activities, and good food. We all look forward to another year at BH Belltown!”

“I have two kids who attended/currently attend TCS and we have had an excellent experience. My oldest started part way through the year and from day one, we felt so welcome, not just from the teachers and staff but the parents as well. It really feels like a friendly community. The staff is wonderful: warm and encouraging. This year they have brought in music and art specialists as well. They follow an emergent curriculum so my children were always very engaged and excited.”

“Concordia is a nurturing, supportive and personalized school. Our twin boys attended the Giraffe preschool program and are just wrapping up their Kindergarten year on the White Team. We love the collaboration and teamwork that occurs across the grades. The teachers and entire staff are definitely partners with us in the growth and development of our children - mind, body, and spirit.”

“We have loved KidsCentre and the infant room, where my son has gone since he was 4 months old. All of the teachers are so wonderful and really caring, and they helped me feel comfortable sending my baby to daycare while I'm at work. We're relocating so he won't be joining the Waddler room when he turns 1, but I couldn't have asked for a better childcare center for my son's first year. They really set a high bar for future care!”

“Lauren and her staff helped raise my two children, my son from the time he was one and my daughter from age three. I was impressed by the way the staff treated the children--respectfully, playfully, interested in each one--, how they treated families (creating family socials and educational opportunities) and how they treated each other. It was my first experience as a parent of a "school community." Our whole family benefitted. Our daughter met her "best friend for life" here (they are now 11), and my son, who has autism, received care and education from a faculty of teachers who wouldn't quit on him, who worked tirelessly to find strategies that would help learn. There was only one thing difficult about being a parent of children at Bella Mente, and that was leaving the place when our kids went to kindergarten. I could not recommend this early learning center more highly.”

“The Community School is the most magical preschool ever! We stumbled upon their Messy Play Day when our second child was just under 2 years old. Kiddo coined it "painting school" and begged to go all the time! As soon as Brey was old enough we enrolled her and it's an amazing fit for our family. The COVID closure was heartbreaking and we are so thrilled CSWS has reopened. The teachers and staff are so committed to these kids and their families that they continued to volunteer their time to bring virtual offerings during the closure. Our kiddo never forgot her school or her teachers after 12 months of not attending in person. The reopening has gone so smoothly and we are confident in the health precautions the school is taking. Brey runs in everyday without looking back (or even saying goodbye) and tells us amazing stories from her day. We love this school and we get so much joy out of all that it gives to Brey!”

“We couldn't be happier with Wallingford KinderCare and feel extremely lucky to have our two younger girls here (almost 3yo and 8mo). The center is relatively new, opening on the heels of Covid which I think has advantaged them. The staff and hiring is very diverse which we truly appreciate and makes us feel good about the exposure our little ones are getting. We have been lucky with many good childcare situations over the years, but Wallingford KinderCare has surpassed all my expectations between the kindness and high communication of the teachers and administrative staff, and the enriching experience our girls are getting. We've also found the discovery preschool ("DP") and preschool staff to be incredibly supportive of and instrumental in potty training, which is a bonus for any parent! Both girls have enjoyed the meals, and I have always felt safe and reassured leaving my infant in their caring arms. The director Alex has supported us through some tough family transitions which demonstrated her empathy and willingness to go above and beyond for her families. It's a great location, excellent hours, and a wonderful team - you can't ask for more :)”
