My son wanted to stop here. He's a WSU alum and apparently this place was part of the history of his in-laws stopping on their way to WSU football games.Had a beer. Nice and new on the inside.

Located at the junction of Highway 26 (to Colfax/Pullman) and Highway 261 (to Palouse Falls), Sonny's has served the rural community and travelers with refreshing beverages and it's famous "broasted" Chicken & Joes since the 1960s.
Sonny's re-opened in the fall of 2023, under the new ownership of local cattle ranchers, Paul and Bridget Coon (WSU '05, Go Cougs)! The beef options on the menu are made with their Bar U Ranch beef, raised by the family just 12 miles away from the town.
