“Fantastic beers, great owner, cool space with games and fun seating. Music and chill vibe. Can’t wait to come back in the summer! Opened early for our group on a Friday and we all had so much fun.”

“Far and away the best grocer in Door County and rivals the veery best in Green Bay. Prices are a bit higher but no matter how busy this store is they have hired enough people to get you out of the checkout line in a hurry and they carry the groceries out to your car.High quality food items, Liquor, Wine and Meats. The only place I shop.”

“This place is genius. Dan was great!! He knew the history and gave so much information about everything we tried. Constant suggestions and such great company. You could tell he loved his job and the people that came to visit. The oils, pickeled garnishes along with the wine was perfect. Free samples of so many things! This gave us a reason to buy door peninsula wine, as we were able to try as many as we wanted. We were here on off season so we did get a lot of attention. I would be curious to see it during tourist season. I would suggest this place to anyone going up the peninsula.”

“This Shell convenience store/station sits right on a prime scenic lot on Highway 42 overlooking the bay. I couldn't believe that they had the same $3.899/gal price for regular 87 octane that matched the cheapest price anywhere in Door County at this time. I've seen Shell prices at a lot of places over the years in both the US and overseas, and they're ALWAYS one of the highest priced brands, ha. I had to fill up here just for grins, even though I really didn't need to. It was an old style pump too, with no card reader, no digital screens, and I was flabbergasted and paralyzed for a moment! I thought, well, I guess have to go in and give them my credit card for a prepayment. But nope, Andrea the clerk inside, just says fill it up and come back and tell me how much it was. Ha, a total old school honor system here, and a nostalgic trip to the past. I'll go with 4 stars. Now if they had an attendant come out and check my oil dipstick and clean the windshield and pump the gas, I'd go with 5 stars 4sure! ps - Inside the building, they have a standard, small convenience store with pre-packaged goods, i.e., no hot food.”

“Nice selection of fine wines, but we go there mostly for the fabulous variety of cheeses from around the world. Our fave place to supply our lakeside wine and cheese pairings. Owners are super nice and very helpful.”
