“I came to North Lake Vet Clinic to establish care for my dog Sparkey. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Sparkey is a cute boy but can be anxious and nosy. Dr. Smith and Rissa were kind and patient with him. They took the time to review his medical records from where he used to go and where very thorough. I’m glad I was able to find a clinic that accepts Sparkey for who he his but also pays attention to detail and takes time to explain things.”

“The only thing bad about this place is some of the pricing. $2300 to clean my cats teeth and perform a few extractions on infected teeth and $35.00 for a nail trim on my dog.
The vet that I see is very nice, she doesn't push unnecessary vaccines. and is understanding of my holistic approach to caring for my pets even though she's not a holistic vet.
Apparently they were busy in clinic today. I dropped my cat off for bloodwork at 7:30am and didn't get him back until 4pm. When I called for an update I sat on hold for 20 minutes. Ridiculous hold time!”

The facility is beautiful, but what truly sets this practice apart is the people. Every visit is met with genuine kindness, compassion, and exceptional care. You can tell the entire team truly loves animals, and that gives us complete confidence that our cats are in the best hands.
We especially appreciate that they offer grooming services. We have two long-haired Persian cats, and anyone who's owned Persians knows they're not exactly the easiest grooming clients (IYKYK 😄)... The team is always patient, gentle, and does an amazing job.

“I have been going to Lake Country Veterinary Care for years. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. I live in the Milwaukee area and there are plenty of veterinary clinics around here, but I don’t trust any of them like I do Lake Country. I learned that the hard way when I decided that Lake Country was too far and I tried a vet close to home.The staff was rude,the vet was in a rush and misdiagnosed my dog, and they were way more expensive. I ended up going back to Lake Country and they fixed my dog up right away.Dr Barbara Good has been my dogs vet their entire lives and my dogs before them. And although she retired this year, I still trust them to care for my dogs. Their prices are fantastic and so is the staff.Just a great place!”

“I am so thrilled to have finally found a veterinarian like Dr Kusba. She is not the typical veterinarian. Her holistic approach is such a breath of fresh air and exactly what I was looking for. My dog gets acupuncture here and red light laser therapy. I am so glad to be able to bring my dog to such a great place of healing. She has a thorough knowledge of orthopedics and I learn so much from her. She doesn't just treat my animal, she also teaches me how to help my dog at home as well. I love how she explains how to massage my dog so he can heal faster from his back injury. She even sent me videos to help me remember how to do it. This is invaluable to me and I really enjoy learning all the things to keep my dog as healthy as possible. I also like how she treats the whole dog and not just one symptom. I can tell she understands how everything is related and takes everything into consideration when assessing the health of my dog. She is very thorough and I really appreciate the kind attention she has showed to both my dog and myself. I feel very grateful to have a veterinarian like Dr. Kusba. The techs are great too. They have a skill for keeping my dog happy licking yummy treats while he gets his treatments from the doctor. My dog loves it there. :)”

“Dr. Good and Dr. Kreuger are amazing! The staff is just as wonderful!! We have been taking care of our senior Shih tzu for the last month with the watchful eye of Dr. K. She was dutifully returning every call we had when our girl was getting worse. Today we took our 17 year old baby for the last time and put her down. We have been dog owners for 45 years and this clinic made us feel so comfortable during this terrible time. If you are looking for compassion at fair prices...this place is the best.”

“My son found this on line. Called them and told them his cat was very sick and had to be put down. It was hard for him to tell them what was going on with his precious Bristol. They were very patient,calming,helpful. Gave my son and grandson extra time with Bristol. It was much appreciated. We all were distraught and they comforted us. My sister told them she was switching vets and going to them from now on! Excellent Company”

“Dr. Christina Betchner is compassionate, supremely competent, and willing to spend however long it takes to determine what is wrong with your pet and to recommend treatment. We recently had a frightening experience with our dog who had developed a massive tumor. Dr. Betchner thoroughly explained all possibilities. WVRC performed surgery to remove the tumor and spleen. Our dog has recovered nicely the past month. Dr. Betchner spent a long, long time removing surgical staples from our dog's chest and stomach. It was difficult for her, and our dog. She has repeatedly called to check on our dog's recovery. Terrific vet.”

“We’ve been taking our dog Max to Dr. Butler for about 3 years now, and I just can’t say enough good things. He’s always so kind and gentle, and you can tell he truly cares. Max has been very well looked after, and that means a lot to us. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.”
“I took my cat in for I guess an urgent visit? I was seen right away but like it wasnt life or death. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurse we're super sweet to me. I was a little frazzled because my cat was getting a repeated bloody nose and she is an old cat. I was very worried. My point is that they put me at ease. Everyone was very helpful. After an examination they we're able to give me an answer and treatment. They also offered services for grooming assistance since she is an old cat and is not able to upkeep her fur. The wait was what I expected. I will be taking there as long as I live where I do now. I would also recommend this vet.
EDIT: I forgot to mention. A huge pro to this place. I am able to take care of my cat but am low income and this place takes care credit. This really helped me out as I did not have the money in my bank for an urgent pet visit.”

“This clinic is the absolute best! I have had many pets throughout my lifetime and have seen my animals thru many crisises and this team is by far the most compassionate and caring. My little chihuahua recently needed 21 teeth removed and they were on it with the most calming and compassionate care ever. Since she is my emotional support dog I was frantic thinking she would be in great pain, but their care and expertise calmed both myself and my fur baby. I think I was more worried than she was!! They called the next day to make sure she was doing well and there was no bleeding or whining. She even ate a bit of food each day since and is slowly becoming her old doggie self. Dr. Augustin and her most competent staff are truly in the right profession. I cannot say enough good things about the treatment we both received!! Kudos to everyone there!”
