Hours: Midwest Rubber was founded in 1926 in Milwaukee, Wis. The company was started and operated by the Nitzche family until the sale to Treadsdirect,LLC-US in 2012. Midwest was a pioneer in producing tire repair materials, holding early patents on patch/plug combinations and other repair products. In 1972 Midwest Rubber moved to current location in Stoughton, Wis. expanding into retreading consumables. Today Midwest Rubber is still considered the premium supplier of liquids, calendered and extruded rubber used for repairing and retreading tires. Midwest Rubber is owned and operated by Treadsdirect,LLC-USA, as a wholly owned subsidary of Elgi.
