“We recently stayed at Hotel Fortney while attending a show at the Historic Temple Theater. I can't say enough good things about this beautifully renovated hotel. Everything about our stay was outstanding. Friendly staff, cool lounge/bar, 3rd-floor kitchen with refrigerator for leftovers + games + superior morning coffee (rocket fuel!), clean rooms, water bottle filling station, etc. The frosting on the cake was when Brian called to inform me that I forgot my phone charger and he promptly mailed it out. Thank you for the great stay.Rooms: Spacious, beautiful, very clean, attention to detailNearby activities: Veroqua has many shops worth checking out.Walkability: easy-peasy”

“The rooms although a bit small, are clean and comfortable. Staff even has a complimentary laundry bag for you to store your dirty clothes in for your trip.The food in the restaurant is very good. You need to try their pizza! The staff is friendly and helpful. However if you are staying at the Motel, you need to check in before 9 PM because that's when the restaurant closes and there isn't any other way to check in.Overall, 10/10 would stay again if I'm in the area.”

“The owner was very friendly, rooms were nice, we basically just slept there ,as we were with family in town. Did not like that we were accused of smoking in our room . We don't smoke in our home, we would not smoke in a motel room! Also, coffee in the lobby in the morning would be nice.”
