“Rector is awesome. I hit a deer the other night in Manderson on my roadtrip/honeymoon from Alabama to Alaska. We were able to drive my car from Manderson to Cody, and went in the next day. We asked them if someone could take a look at it and tell us if it was safe to continue on. No appointment, we just dropped in. A very nice woman at the front desk told us she’d see if someone was available to take a look, and if not, she’d find a place to send us. A few minutes later, she walked in with a man who had already looked at my car and told me it would be fine to drive. He’d already gone over, checked it out, and removed the thing I was concerned about. I offered to pay for the check over and they told me I owed them nothing. Absolutely amazing people. So grateful for them. 1000% recommend.”

“BROKEN DOWN and looking for a RESCUE? Look no further! Call LARRY, he's the BEST! We were coming from Yellowstone, headed home to Denver, when our clutch went out. Stranded, waiting on the side of the road for a tow, I was calling every mechanic I could find. I was worried about how long I'd be stuck in Cody and how much I'd be taken for due to my obvious disadvantage. How I landed on LA Services, I don't recall, but I am so grateful. It was around 4pm when I spoke with Larry and by the time we were towed into his yard, just before 5, he had the parts already ordered. He let us sleep overnight in our little RV in his yard and got started on our clutch even earlier than he had promised. He seemed confident he would be able to get it done by the end of the day. We wandered into Cody and spent a few hours exploring the town, fingers crossed the whole time that Larry would be able to get us on the road by the end of the day. It just seemed like an unbelievably quick turnaround, but we stayed hopeful. When he called us around 3pm to tell us that we were ready to go, we were elated. All said and done, Larry charged us less than I probably would have paid in Denver. He replaced all the parts and showed me the ones he pulled. I've looked up clutch repair for my vehicle and I should have paid $600-900. Larry charged me $550 and had us out of there in less than 24 hours! Our RV purred the rest of the journey home after Larry's TLC. Now to find a Toyota mechanic in Denver I like and respect as much as Larry.......”

“I was on vacation in Cody with my family, 1,112 miles away from home, and on our drive up to spend the day at Yellowstone, my check-engine (MIL) light came on. As my truck is a Deisel, I didn’t want to ignore whatever the issue was and risk it leading to larger issues. On a solid recommendation from a rep at the auto parts store nearby, I went to the Auto Shop. Jason, from the front office, was kind, understanding, and compassionate to my circumstances, and was able to get my truck looked at same-day in spite of them starting the day very busy. The issue ended up being my coolant thermostats had failed and needed replaced, and thankfully this was able to be taken care of same-day with availability of parts. The service was exceptional and courteous, and transparently and reasonably priced. And at the beginning of the process, Jason even offered to give me a ride back to the RV campground I was staying at in lieu of waiting for my truck, which was unexpected. I ended up opting to wait once the issue was identified and their solution was already underway. The technician working on my truck was very knowledgeable and thorough and even took a few minutes to talk to me about the work he performed. Overall, this is a fantastic and quality auto shop, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of my vehicles here if I lived locally. This shop and these fantastic guys were a serious answer to prayer for my family and I, and what could have been a devastating blow to our big Yellowstone trip ended up being taken care of same-day and with outstanding care and customer service. “They've always treated me fairly and done a decent job, whether it be with an oil change or tires. For the economy, you can't find a much better place. I've bought tires in store and online and never had a problem either way. Being open on the weekends is a big plus when you're busy all week and can't make it to a different shop. I've had mixed experiences with them meeting the timeline they quoted me, but in my opinion, that's any mechanical work, regardless of where you go.”
