“I typically don’t go to “Bar & Grills”, for lunch, but this one, despite its name, wasn’t bad. It is a hamburger and side dish place, do not expect to find a salad on this menu. The hamburgers looked like they had been hand formed and from local beef. The beef tasted like it was grass fed. I raise my own grass fed beef so I can, typically, tell the difference in flavor. I always skip the bun of empty calories and of little flavor and just go for the meat. My husband had the patty melt, he enjoyed it and it looked like it was correctly built. Our lunch partners both had the fried chicken sandwiches which looked okay and they said it was good. The French fries were done nicely, they were hot and cooked through. The kitchen was very slow 30 minutes slow and they were not busy. The waitress while not apologizing for that did give us a very yummy comp’d side dish of onion rings which everyone loved. Food is served in paper boats, but real silver wear. The restaurant is rough and well used inside, complete with a pool table and darts. The bathrooms were clean and what I could see of the kitchen it looked clean also. The waitress was attentive, took our orders promptly and got out drinks out right away.Parking: I found a place in the shade on a hot day, nice.Wheelchair accessibility: Expect a few challenges.”
