Providence Veterinary Hospital
2304 Pacific Ave, AlamedaWe just started going here with our greyhound puppy. We already love them. Stephanie and Dr Harris were absolutely lovely/attentive with Charlie. He got a cute calming pheromone bandana, they did a thorough exam, and checked everything we asked. They also acquired records from our previous vet, and printed them out for us. They're great!

Wydner, Cathy DVM - Park Center Animal Hospital
2501 Central Ave, AlamedaMy comments are a little different than the normal ones. I had been a client at Park Centre since the 80's with many pets over the years. My very difficult dog was seen by Cathy Wydner in 1990 and from that time on, I never looked back as the appointment went so smoothly. I moved to AZ in September 2020 with 2 dogs and three cats. Quite an adventurous drive. We made it safely but in January 2021, I had to euthanize at my new vet one of my cats who had cancer. In early June 2021, I was so surprised to receive an acknowledgment from UC Davis of a donation made in my cat's memory, What struck me is that this was 8 months after I had moved and was no longer a client. Quite a compassionate thing to do and reflective of the care that I received over the many years. I was never disappointed in the clinic. This last gesture of kindness won't be lost in my memory.

Pet Sitting & Training
Doggy Doggy at Kitshouse
2058 San Jose Ave, AlamedaMy dog Chewy (a Yorkie) has been coming here every day for a few years. I work long hours away from home, and it gives me joy to know he’s living a great life during the day. He gets cuddles, walks, attention, and he gets to explore Kit’s beautiful garden. The prices are competitive, too.

Lao and Sushi Bistro
1305 Park St, AlamedaThis place should be packed! I hope you give this place a try today because the food is high quality and full of flavor. I wasn't sure about this place at first because they don't have a lot of reviews and weren't really busy, but you can tell by the photos the food is good—that's what finally made my wife decide to check it out and we're really glad we did! We went last night with another family and we liked it so much that we came back tonight to try their other dishes. There are many restaurants in Alameda with mediocre food that are crowded, but this place should be overflowing with customers and I want to draw some attention to this gem. This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, so please give it a try!PS. They no longer serve sushi and are focused on Lao food and Southeast Asian food, which luckily for us is fantastic!

Lucky 13
1301 Park St, AlamedaExcellent place to relax and chill with friends. The beer selection is great and so is the staff. I also love the obscure 80's music they play and it helps that they have nice audio equipment for good sound quality. I like that they let you bring food from Scolari's next door. I will return...Cheers!!

tahina
1650 Park St, AlamedaDelicious and quick place to grab a bite to eat. Their fries have a great seasoning and don’t need dipping sauce- but their dipping sauce is delicious! I like their felafel pitas, chicken shawarma wraps, chicken soup, and side salads. Their hummus dips are perfect to bring home and snack on later too. You pretty much can’t go wrong if you are looking for a quick and filling meal to go. It’s one of my top three go-tos in the area.

Humble Sea Brewing Co. | Alameda Point
2350 Saratoga St #164, AlamedaWe stopped by on a Sunday because we were following the SmackBurger truck but were pleasantly surprised by Humble Sea! The space is very nice with a huge outdoor section with string lights and tons of tables and a nice little dog area. The beers themselves are high quality. I'm a big sour beer guy and they didn't have any fruited sours but they did have their Shoalmates. Its good, very good. Seriously, I wish I picked some up but will have to go back and get more!
