“The folks at Japanese Auto Center in Torrance are the best! The first time I went to them I brought in a list of expensive ($8k) recommended repairs from my local dealership in order to get a second opinion. They ended up confirming that about half of the repairs needed to be made, and gave me a very reasonable price to do the work. But another very expensive repair they demonstrated was not necessary, saving me thousands of dollars! I was very grateful and pleased with the results of their work.More recently I visited because my front grille cover had popped off when I hit a curb stop. My car is very low slung and hard to get below without jacking it up, and I wasn’t sure if one of the fasteners had broken or not. I asked them to see if they thought they could reattach it securely, or if I needed to get a new one. They cheerfully went out, quickly reattached the grille cover, and told me that they would not take any money for doing it. So instead, I am paying it back by telling the world what honest mechanics you will find here! It’s such a relief to find great, honest, reasonably priced auto mechanics. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Center.”
“I was skeptical to use Jiffy Lube service for my vehicle but the customer service was on par. They explained in detail what my vehicle needed in order to extend and keep my vehicle running at its highest proficiency. There was no pressure and they included the current promotional discounts. Most places wouldn’t even inform the customer. My car is running smoother and it was noticiable the minute I drove off.”

“Sam is a good and honest mechanic! I always go to him for my automotive work. Last Summer he discovered that my rear main seal was leaking and recommended that I see if my car was still under warranty with the Hyundai Dealership. And sure enough it was still under warranty and it got repaired. He was so kind to show me that. That’s saved me A LOT of money in repairs. Which I am so grateful for! He just did an oil change for my car today and got me in and out right away. This is the place to go for work!”
“Just wanted to say that this is a DYNAMITE shop to have any work done to your auto. DJ, Gholam and Jay are the *BEST* people to deal with. Honesty, great work and reasonable prices. I will continue to have my cars serviced there. Work done was front and rear brakes plus rotors, flushed cooling system, brake fluid, transmission fluid, all filters changed and windshield washer pump. Give them a try, you won't regret it!”

“As I gotten my oil change there, he inspected everything out, and suggested I get a brake fluid flush, cause was that it wasn't a good color, it supposed to be clear, so weeks later I got it done and he did a great job, they are very honest and reliable establishment, I recommend anyone that wants to get some work done, to check this place out. I will definitely be coming back if I ever need to get more work repairs in the future. I believe their Father works there as well, it's a Family Business, they also have another location in Gardena, the other son works there named Steve, my boss said he does good work as well, it's closer to his home so it's very convenient for him.”
“My experience at Walt's Auto Service was seamless. Their online appointment service is very efficient. Their communication during servicing and afterwards is professional, courteous and very pleasant.Most importantly the service provided to me was highly ethical. During a routine maintenance appointment Walt and his technician found an incidental problem with my axle. Instead of recommending an expensive repair to be done at his shop Walt instead looked up the car warranty details and verified the needed repair would be covered under warranty. “I came in early Saturday morning to see if I could get my air conditioning system fixed. There was very little wait time (about 5 minutes) Fred and Fernando both worked on my car and were super friendly. All I needed was to fill my car with coolant. Fernando put dye in the system to determine if there is a leak somewhere. I was told to come back immediately if the air decreased in any way. Fast, friendly and trustworthy service. I had my son come in with his car about a year ago. He had the same satisfying experience. I highly recommend this place.”
“I had some car issues from all the rain we got recently, I took my car here for the first time weary as a young woman the mechanic can be intimidating as I don’t understand much about all the aspects of a car. I am so fortunate to have found this place! “Decided to surprise my very busy daughter and get her 2010 Toyota Venza serviced. She didn’t have a mechanic and had been taking her car to the dealer for servicing and getting gouged by high prices. Found MGM on Google and saw that ratings were very high. Also a neighbor highly recommended them for doing good work at a fair price. Contacted them and spoke to John who was able to fit me in the following day. His recommendations were what I was anticipating given the age of the car and the prices quoted was reasonable. John was great to deal with. Great customer service and very professional.
