They are such an and his family. they have always loved my family and intern my family love them me my mother, Lillian, my brother, Hodges, a.k.a. they call Upsher my son, Shawn my nephew, Tommy, my daughters, Shakida, Monica, Karvetta, Karleena, and also my husband, Karl, which they call Tyson. We’re going to miss you guys so much. we’re always gonna keep you guys in our hearts and prayers. Hate to see that your clothes in the store but we do know the memories we share I’m going to last a lifetime. I love you guys so much Valerie.”
“There's no such thing for me as an ALDI that's on the way of anywhere I normally go, but when I do come here, they're definitely better stocked than most of the other locations in the area and if you come at the right time, you can find good markdown items in the fresh areas.”
“To the General Manager... The guy closing the store on August 2 2023 deserves a raise. Today is my second day in Virginia and i had to buy something extremely important to me and i thought you guys closed at 10. I got there and the guy met me at the door and asked me if i wanted to come in and he said "one minute' meaning he was willing to let me get what i needed before he closed. No other store or employee in my 44 years of life has done anything like this. going above and beyond to do his job and still have a great attitude about his job and towards custmers he dont even know. So, yes, This employee you have right now deserves recognition and im not talking about a simple thank you for being a Dollar General family member or a pizza party... He deserves a raise. Employees this good are seriously and extremely hard to find and you should let him know how thankful you are for having him on board.”

“Food Lion is always my go to. It's close to home and convenient. This particular store is close to my work. Started going here a few months ago on my way home from work. Nice store and friendly associates. Pretty well stocked , at least for what I buy. Layout is different then the one by home but starting to learn it. Will continue going here for future shopping.”

“I googled something i was having A hard time finding and this place popped up. I had never heard of it. Went online to look at what they offer and immediately put in an order for delivery on instacart. Haven’t gone inside personally but they’re getting five stars for having what I needed, dietary item, in stock. Also beca they are local and I didn’t have to order it and wait a week to receive it.”

“This store is really close to the Shore Drive end of Little Creek Rd. The store is always clean and never cluttered. The one lady is there consistently, is very nice and positive. I stop in to purchase my cleaning supplies often. I always feel very safe here.”

“This Food Lion location was actually very well-stocked and fairly clean. The only main issue here is that there are so few employees working the registers. However there is a small self-checkout area (emphasis on small). But, overall as it was not very busy during my visit I came in and out fairly quickly!”

“Filipinos make some damn good comfort food. And as it's been another rough day, comfort food is what I need. I'm like Kung Fu Panda, I eat when I get stressed...and when I'm happy... and well, just because. I'm a foodie, don't judge! Today I really wanted Tocino, something sweet and savory, especially since I don't really eat meat anymore. But alas, my craving was not able to be satisfied as they did not have any today. They did, however, have a large assortment of fish, lumpia, loganisa, sinigang... for $5.25, you get a heaping two item entree. Lumpia is only sixty cents a piece. For less than $40, I got two combos, a dozen lumpia and four loganisa. And since my eyes are almost always bigger than my stomach, I barely even had a third of my combo before getting too full. So glad this place is here!”

“I live in Okinawa, Japan and travel to the Philippines a couple times per year. I have fallen in love with Filipino food, so much so that I look for it when I travel to other countries and back to the United States. I have been craving Pandesal and was happy to see the Manila Bread House in Norfolk, VA. While they were already sold out of the other menu items I was able to get a bag of pandesal hot out of the oven. I had a roll out of the bag before I even got back to my car. Sooo good!!! As an aside, if ypu are looking for lumpia they sell it by the bag, pre-rolled and cooled (not frozen). I'll be back during the week for lunch.”

“We became Pendulum CSA (meat and wine) members during COVID and so glad we did because they are awesome! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Their meats are top quality and they have a large variety of cuts you won't see in the grocery store. We love their sausages and have not been disappointed. During the day they have sandwich's that are so delish! So this is a butcher shop, that sells sandwich's, wine, beer, desserts, breads, pizza dough, fresh mozz, and snacks. It's a super fun shop that you can eat in. It's the first floor of the owners house, so the whole shop has a fun, home like feel! You will not be disappointed, I promise !”
