Powell Building Supply is competitively priced with Home Depot and Lowes in most items. Staff is helpful to provide ideas to customers. Only reason I didn't rate 5-stars is Powell's doesn't have as much inventory as the other stores mentioned above...but are convient / closer than "big city" stores.

I got 2x6's here for $12 each. Helluva deal considering the price of lumber and everything else lately. Yesterday i bought 2 12' 4x4's somewhere else and paid $55. I wish i would have went to Powell's
