Dr. Kerins seems very knowledgeable and cares about the animals he sees. Our two kittens received their shots at Alabaster Animal Clinic. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love Alabaster Animal Clinic! Dr. Kerins is wonderful, and he takes the time your pet deserves while they are there for a visit!

Everyone in there was soo loving, caring and soo awesome!! I'm a first time pet owner and kept asking them questions and they were happy to answer and didn't feel annoyed or aggravated. They act like it's their own fur baby!! I was shocked and speechless.

5/5 for vet himself | 3/5 for clinic as a wholeDoc is great, but the RECEPTIONIST REFUSED TO REFILL MY Rx, SO NOW MY PUP MIGHT GET HEARTWORM! She says he's gotta be tested, but how was I supposed to remember an appointment I made a year ago? A reminder sure would've been nice!Despite that, THE VET IS GREAT! He's a very sweet older gentleman with a great bedside manner who really seems to care about you and your pet. He really takes his time explaining things and will answer as many questions as you have without seeming rushed: a rare quality in any type of doc/medical professional. When my senior pup Oscar tested + for heartworm, he was very thorough in explaining all options available for treatment. He was honest about the fact that heartworm treatment is very expensive and might not always be worth the expense for a senior dog. Unlike many vets, he didn't seem to try to pile on unnecessary tests/treatments to milk me for money.I did decide to switch vets to MAC in Calera since it's closer to where I live and the incident with my pup's prescription was irritating, but I still would recommend this vet.

They were very informative and discussed different possibilities of what could be wrong while waiting on the test results. They worked very hard to try to calm my anxious dog before doing anything b

I can't recommend this office enough. They were super kind and caring when our cat got sick and had to be kept for observation, and we're very sympathetic when he passed.

Super personal and professional staff. I didn’t feel like the appointment was rushed and the doctor took time to explain things thoroughly.

Excellent vet and care, just moved here and needed new vet. Doctor took time to listen, make recommendations and wasn't pushing stuff my dogs didn't need, I really appreciate that. Prices were completely reasonable. Good staff.

I've been going there over 20 years and two successive veteranarians. The best way to decribe AAC is they're compassionate and the costs are reasonable. Dr Kerins is a good man and shoots straight with people. More than once, he told me if I needed to come back for any issue, he wouldn't charge me. I've never had an issue here about anything. Just good people who care about what they do.

We've been patients here for several years and would not voluntarily go anywhere else. Dr. Kerrin is very kind and patient so my dogs and cats don't totally mind their checkups. Even when the appointment is over, you're not pushed out the door.We just had to make the horrible decision to assist our 10-year-old cat in passing on after a cancer battle. Dr. Kerrin and his amazing staff made the process as simple and easy as the process can be.

Took a new puppy to be checked out and get shots. Vet took NO stool sample NOR a blood test. Absolutely no concern with the dog possibly having parvo. I was in and out in maybe 5 minutes. If you want to find a caring vet, DON’T go here!
