I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is well deserved. I brought my WRX in after getting the runaround from a couple other places, and Rhett at the Alabaster location treated me like a customer should be treated. He walked me through everything, didn’t talk down to me, and genuinely wanted to help. That level of honesty is rare in this industry.
The whole process was smooth, honest, and professional from start to finish. You can tell Rhett takes pride in what he does and actually cares about the people who come through the door. That kind of service is the reason I’ll keep coming back.
Seeing negative reviews pop up online honestly blows my mind because the level of care I received here has been nothing but top-notch. These guys have earned my trust, and I won’t take my car anywhere else.
If you want real, dependable service from people who take pride in their work, this is the place.

If I could put 0 stars I would, or even negative. I brought my Cadillac Escalade in because we were having issues with the starter on a Monday. They called us on Tuesday and said that it cranked every time for them, no issues, but wanted to check it out again on Wednesday. They called Wednesday afternoon and said there were no issues and it was cranking up and driving just fine. They said we could come pick it up that evening or the next morning. We weren’t able to get there that evening. I showed up Thursday morning and was given my keys and told “you’re good to go”. Only for the nightmare to begin. My car was “stolen”. The technician either parked it “there or here”. He can’t remember. Mind you the color combination of exterior and interior was a difficult find. I would know, seeing as I had searched extensively to find the combination. It was my dream car. There were also two car seats in the back, and a crack on the windshield all making it much more distinct than any other vehicle in their possession. So now, because even though they are certain it wasn’t in the garage, (but get this there aren’t any cameras at the business even though there is a sign stating your are under surveillance) their insurance/the business itself is unwilling to do anything to help us. So here I am, 19 days out from Christmas with my car I saved up for, GONE, two car seats, GONE, my child’s vest I bought for Christmas, GONE and his DVDs that he watched in said car. My husband and I are both school teachers. We work hard. We save up to make purchases. We have cameras and security at our home to protect said purchases and because we trusted a business, now we are out a car and whatever financial consequences are to come. I know “things” can be replaced, but I’m heartbroken. We saved up for this car, we searched to find a car with a third row that we enjoyed for our family after having our second child and now it’s gone and there hasn’t even been an “I’m sorry” spoken.

Always a positive experience with Alabaster Auto. I have had them work on tires, radiator issues and more. Rhett is always straightforward and kind.

I work in Alabaster and live almost an hour from home. My battery had gone bad, I called dropped my car off, and within no time my battery was replaced with a fair price! they are so nice and helpful! would highly recommend!

The customer service was fine. I had gone in because my A/C had quit working. They ran diagnostic and found and fixed a couple of other issues, but the main issue I had gone in for was not fixed after the repairs were completed. Overall very unsatisfied.
Update: lowering the ranking because after taking it to another mechanic I found out that the freon was never added, or such a small amount that my A/C still wouldn't work.

I’ve been taking our vehicles to Alabaster Automotive for years ever since moving to the area. Rhett and the Alabaster Auto crew have always provided good service, fair prices, thorough explanations of whatever the problem on the vehicle was, and the one and only time I had a slight complaint about a service they worked with me to resolve it. I won’t go anywhere else but Alabaster Automotive!

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Charged me 924$ to replace the spark plugs and car didn’t last 20 mins out the shop before it broke down with the same issue I brought it to them for. Overpriced and poor service!!

Back in my day I tried to fix my own stuff in the Autozone parking lot but man does alabaster automotive make it easy to hand it over to the professionals. They diagnosed my car and helped save me money . Instead of throwing parts at my car and hoping for the best I found a place that fixes it the first time. I was able to meet Ben and he is an amazing, kind, and intelligent individual. I can only recommend you give this place your business if you are in the area.
