This is a very nice store. Always kept clean. Alanna was great, she went above and beyond for me when deciding on which shoes were good for me!

The girl at the cashier didn’t let me use my coupon. She said since it’s the same return. There is no need in using it. Baby…it’s over $100. Saving $20. Yes I can use it. Not sure why she does customer service.

I was in Dick’s Sporting Goods store in Alabaster on Monday, February 10, 2025 between 11:45 and 12:00. I took my sons there to buy a baseball cup and when I got to that section, I grabbed 2. Each cup was labeled and advertised on the shelf as $11.99. When I got to the register, they rang up as $83.58. I refused the sale and gave the reason that these products were advertised as $11.99. The cashier asked the manager to come assist. When he got there and saw the sticker price as advertised, he told me that somebody must had forgotten to change the label. He then offered me a 10% discount. When I told him that I wanted it for the price that was advertised in his store, he became irate and told me that he would not honor that price. He then threatened to sue me in court because I started taking pictures so I could have proof of the interaction.
I have been going to Dick’s for a long time and this is the first time I have ever experienced anything like this. In addition to the products clearly being falsely advertised as $11.99, the manager was extremely rude and grossly unprofessional. I’ve never been threatened by anybody much less an employee of a store that I frequently patronize. I understand if a mistake was made, but it was not my mistake, nor did it merit the embarrassment I received at the hands of this manager. I simply went to the store to purchase a product and when the product was clearly listed as $11.99, I went to the register fully expecting to pay $11.99. One would rationally think that a manager would accept the mistake and honor the price instead of causing a scene over a measly $60.00. I know my thousands of dollars spent over the years is small potatoes compared to the billion dollar industry of Dick’s Sporting Goods, but if this type of behavior is indicative of what Dick’s stands for, you can count me out from now on.

They scam you. They had a sign that said buy 1 get 3 free off of Christmas socks. They still charge you. I asked about it and was told it didn't charge me. They must think I can not add

Erica one of the managers is always so rude! Such a nasty attitude! Please find another job if you can’t work with customers kindly. You shouldn’t hate your job that much.

One of the employees kept following my friends and I while giving us looks. He made a snide comment about if we are buying a tent or not. I guess groups of Latinos aren’t welcomed.

The only reason I'm rating this store with 2 stars is because of the super nice cashier that took care of us, other than that with the nasty attitude the "manager" that was there Daven, I believe is what the name tag said, had towards me, it should be NO STARS if that was an option here, he was super rude when I approached him to ask him to scan an item for me that had NO VISIBLE PRICE/TAG he literally rolled his eyes and made a nasty face to me like if he was so bothered I even talked to him.So, to be more clear, like I always say, customer service is NOT FOR EVERYONE! And for those that like to work in store departments, Restaurants, Banks and any other places where you know from the beginning you have to interact with other people/ customers you should know that your PERSONAL ISSUES NEED TO BE KEPT OUTSIDE YOUR WORK AREA.I'm starting to wonder if purchasing online might be from now on my go-to options since people these days seem to have no value for their jobs and definitely no respect for their customers!

Shelves were marked for U.S. Divers Redondo DX Mask and Padang Snorkel Combo at 19.99 when i went to check out price was otherwise i had a employee to follow me to the shelves and proceeded to tell me that customers misplaced the item to the wrong shelves when all his snorkels were marked at 19.99 i asked him to honor the price he declined. It it my opinion that it is bad business to blame customers for something that is more than likely a employee mistake and that's what makes me so upset I would of been more happy if he did not try to blame customers.

You have to have a full wallet, don't buy anything, everything is very expensive and don't criticize me, I'm poor, but yes, I'm poor, but I've already started working and I'm going to buy a boat.

It’s an ok sporting goods store. They seem to concentrate on label sales of shirts and hats. They do sell some golf, baseball, softball, tennis, and football stuff. A little camping equipment, tents and sleeping bags. Bicycles, kayaks. All entry level stuff. No high end anything, golf, bikes, fishing, etc. bathroom clean. No firearms or ammunition.
