I took my truck in to have the engine rebuilt. The first time they had it for 4 months and had to get an outside mechanic to help them diagnose the issue. They replaced the heads without doing the lifters & springs (even though it was on the paperwork). They called and said I needed a new engine. After I confirmed they didn't complete the original job, they did the lifters & springs. Got it back, truck goes haywire. I find out they didn't replace the MDS solenoids that are co

They can't even change brakes right. I took my truck back 3 times and they couldn't figure it out they told me it was something else. So I ears this noise for months and took it to another mechanic and he found theyour left bolts out of my caliper and I've alooked had 2 brakes lock up since alabaster auto. Tried calling to see what we could do and apparently they aren't willing to help.

They do things half assed. Put 2 quarts too much oil in my truck and the transmission fluid was low. Had to take it back up there to get them to remove the excess oil and add transmission fluid. They didn't adhere to what I paid for. Won't be back.

When I called to see if they were done with my car, the man on the phone said that there was no such car there. I again told him the model and year of my car and my name and he kept saying I must have called the wrong place. Then he calls back telling me that he did find my car but am I sure I left my key with them? Then he says oh never mind here is your key! It was just very disorganized! Then they told me there wasn't anything wrong with my car when in reality there was. I paid close to $100 for something that didn't help my car at all!

The people here at this shop were angels to us a year ago this July. We had broken down on the interstate on the way home from a very bad vacation... filled with heartache. One of the worst weeks of my life. As our car broke down, so did I... big time. We were able to get our car off the nearest exit and got it to this place. They were completely booked/full/busy and weren't going to take us, but I'm pretty sure one of them noticed how broken I was looking and they squeezed us in. Within an hour and a half, we were back on the road and headed home to Illinois. I haven't forgotten the kindness of that family there at Alabaster Auto Service... I keep our receipt from that day taped inside our cabinet door as a reminder and send prayers their way often.

The only place we take our vehicles. These guys always take care of us. It's the only tire and car repair place where we are consistently pleased by how low/fair their prices are. Good, honest folks.
