Well stocked for (almost?) all kinds of animals and animals’ care just short of being an animal hospital(?) — I don’t know if they have veterinarian(s) regularly on site.

Scheduled an appointment for 8am (6/14/25) for (full) grooming. Dropped my fur baby off at 7:45am and was told he should be ready in 3-4 hours. It’s after 1pm, no call, text, or email that grooming is complete. I called, spoke with Vanessa (grooming manager) who stated my groomer had an emergency and another groomer called out. She apologized, offered free grooming without a start or end time (today) since other groomers had their own schedules. I asked if she could groom my fur baby. She said “No, I’m not even supposed to be here.” I asked for the store and district managers information: Kevin (district) Gaby (on duty store mgr).
Before being transferred, Vanessa suggested that I call around to other store locations to see if they could take my fur baby. I asked if she could make the calls since the outcome might be more favorable manager to manager. She said no. I was transferred to Gaby who claims to have called the Hoover (spoke with Matt, an associate), Inverness, and Bessemer locations all of which are booked and cannot groom my fur baby.
No one thought to contact any of Naomi’s (Christina’s) customers to give them an option to wait or reschedule knowing her situation. Now I’ve wasted over 5h and my fur baby still requires grooming. As I shared with both Vanessa and Gaby this is a level of unprofessionalism and lack of consideration that I’ve never experienced with PetSmart before but will seek other grooming options going forward. VIPP Customer lost.

I come in here just about every weekend to stock up on my fish supplies and I will occasionally purchase fish here. I’ve spent enough money here to be considered a VIPP. This is a perk a customer gets when they spend $1,000 or more annually. Today was the first time I have been ever turned away when purchasing fish. No matter how busy or understaffed they were, someone always had time to pull fish out for us and we never once complained about waiting. We’re very understanding that it will take some time to get to us and don’t mine the wait. It just rubs me the wrong way getting turned down on getting any fish especially when we had to make the drive down here and that we’re frequent customers. I just don’t think “sorry, we’re not selling any animals because there’s only two of us here” is acceptable. Especially since the store had only 4 customers in line.

Too bad I can’t leave a negative score! My dog has been going here for years. Christy is amazing with older dogs - I scheduled with someone else - per the person I spoke with who was good with older dogs. Maddi/Madison absolutely shredded my dog. A cairn terrier that should have gotten a Westie cut was returned to me 4.5hrs later shaved to her skin/ unbathed with her comfort blanket soaked in pee and her butt covered in poo. The hack job is remarkable- along with cuts in her skin. At pickup Maddy refused to come out. Poor Christy who was there looked soo embarrassed as she brought my completely freaked out dog to me and scheduled an appointment to “fix” the damage. The appointment was cancelled by a manager the next am that wasn’t even there. I called and Vanessa the manager spent 10mins trying to defend her employee and arguing instead of listening to the customer. Trying to say it was unsafe for my dog - because when put in a crate my old dog layed down. And confirmed that yes, she was not even bathed. She tried to say her bottom
Was matted - um nope no mattes - I was able to use a wet wipe I bought on my way out to clean her bottom up. So what did they do with my 15.5yo dog for 4.5hrs? Put her in a kennel so she could soil herself ?! Keep in mind I spoke to Mary twice after I dropped her off and was assured ‘no worries I’m giving her breaks so it’s taking singer’. I was paying for the biggest package - that from what Maddy explained to me Would mean the “furminator” bath would loosen all the undercoat. Something that Christy would always do and said after that it made it easier to cut/groom her since she has a terrier too coat that traps the silky undercoat. So clearly Maddy decided to cut before bathe. Which again shows her ignorance of the dogs coat. I’ve worked in customer service for a big company my entire adult life and was gobsmacked at the managers response. Warning, don’t put your fur babies in their hands - Christy is too good for them. The rest/including management are trash that are more concerned with easy young dogs that shd all walk out with the same shi tsu style summer cut regardless Of breed - everybody I saw on the table were being cut identically. Buyer beware / your fur babies aren’t safe here. (Unless they are in Christy’s hands). Corporate should really look into this location and how pets and owners are treated - no apology, no nothing. I’ve attached photos of the damage-

Took my one-year-old corgi here to get groomed. They were excellent! I knew my dog wouldn't like most of the experience, but I saw how patient the groomers were with her and they did a great job.

Angel was so sweet to us today. Shakira has only been with us a week, and she is only 8 months old. We had no idea how she would take to being pampered. Angel did a fantastic job. Shakira smells soo good and is so soft now. Lol. App was easy to use. Website too. Prices comparable to locals who aren't open as late. Great experience overall!

Purchased 50 ct. live large superworms and there were only 26 in the container, the rest of them were dead. Purchased on 4/1/24 with a date of "BORN ON 3/21/24". All the rest of the ones on the shelf looked the exact same. I told the worker they were dead, but she told me that they were just shedding. The container smelled and after counting them I'm missing 24 worms.
