Surprised by number of negative reviews. I've delt with the staff here for over a decade. Always felt they had my best interest at heart. Needed a small loan for some car repairs. Spoke with Jared on phone Thursday got 90% done. Came by Friday afternoon and everything was ready for me to sign. In and out approx 15 min. High five to Jared ?.Garry

Of all the regions banks, this one is by far the worst. I pulled up to the drive thru at 8 minutes til closing, with a trailer and bobcat in tow so I couldn’t fit in the drive thru. All the lanes were closed except for the window. I nicely asked the teller if she would send tube through the shoot for me and was told no, that she had 3 other cars to wait on at the window and that she wasn’t seeing anymore customers when she finished with them bc it would be closing time. I told her that’s not how it works, I’m here before closing and I just needed to make a deposit. I was then informed that I was wrong and she wasn’t going to make my deposit for me even if I could fit thru at the window. Then she wouldn’t even give me her name, I’m assuming bc she was wrong and didn’t want me reporting her. With a 2.5 review rating I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, I won’t be back to this branch, worst customer service ever. Not the first time I’ve had problems here, just the first time it warranted a review

I am writing a review based on my experiences at 2 Regions Branches in Alabaster, AL. First, I was co-signer on an account for a service organization from 2014-18. Then the service was excellent and we had no issues for the 4 years we used Regions. However, in June 2022, I opened a personal account. The service since then has not been good. First, I opened an account because I needed a document notarized. I had already gone to my other bank for this, but no notary was available in these. I decided to stop at Regions Promenade. The guy was eager to help me until he found that I did not have an account. I really needed the document notarized and I had been considering changing banks so I gave in to the coercion and opened a checking account with a $5000 deposit. The guy was supposed to order checks for me, but kept getting distracted and getting up to go somewhere else. He finally returned and I thought everything was in order with my account and I had my document notarized. I never received any checks. At first no big deal because I wasn't planning on using the account anytime soon. However, months passed and no checks. I finally went to the Kent Stone branch because there had been some fraudulent charge on my debit card which I had only used twice to get some cash. They closed the card, gave me another, and ordered the checks. The checks were at a ridiculously high price to me. I ordered the minimum amount. (I have not written a check on the account more than a year later.) My wife had issues with her debit card. Her's was replaced twice. Again, she might have used the card once or twice. I went to the bank about this. We did have an issue with a credit card from another source that had fraudulent charges so we used our debit card in April 2023 for less than $300 in charges with no issues. Now July 2023 comes and neither card has been used since April. However, I have another fraudulent charge show up July 12. I went online and after chatting with AI first, I think I get a real life person to chat (not talk) with. I cancel yet another card (my second canceled card in 1 year). I report the bogus charge and it is being 'investigated'. I go to my local branch and talk to a live person today. I tell her what's happening. She confirms the card has been closed and that the charge is being looked into. She then creates a new debit card for me. One issue here - she asked me to GIVE her the Pin number I want to use. I reluctantly did. Now I worry, are the issues with my account a result of insider fraud from bank employees. Probably not, but that's what's going through my mind. In 13-14 months of owning this account, we've had fraudulent charges 3 times. We have not used the debit cards for almost 3 months. During the entire year we've only used the cards 6-7 times for small amounts. All I got was I'm sorry and the advice, 'maybe you should use a credit card, it's less susceptible to fraud'. Is Region's security so weak that it is easily invaded? Or worse, are there internal problems with security? Needless to say, I'm glad that I did not move the rest of my money to Regions. One more false charge and I will close the account I have. What happened from 2018 when things were okay with the organization account until 2023 with my personal account?

Just got out of this Regions Bank bank, and the staff was pleasant and timely, but I stopped in to get change for $100 bill. I don't know if their money counter is broken, but I oh got $99 in change and it's too late for me to go back now.I know $1 is a lot to make a fuss over, but it's a bit unacceptable when theirs a machine that does the whole counting part for you. I will not trust them with my money again.

Worst company ever to exist, completely horrible. Predatory and terrible customer service.

Drive through experience is horrible, wait time is very very slow. The bank teller at the drive thru (Sara) needs to learn that every person regardless of their skin color is important. She doesn't acknowledge when you drive up or if the other car is another race she chooses to help them first. Also, Sara has very poor customer service skills.

I had an issue with a different Regions branch yesterday involving my minor daughter’s student checking account. I didn’t want to deal with the manager at the other location so I stopped in here. From the minute I walked in, the sweet lady at the desk was so helpful and listened to my concerns. She immediately got the manager of this branch to speak to me. The manager, Daisy, was so helpful and considerate. She helped me get the issue resolved and most of all, she listened to me and wanted to help. I can’t say enough about how helpful she was. From now on, I’ll drive out of my way to visit this branch. I wish I would have gotten the first lady’s name who helped me as well, she was amazing too! Thank you Daisy, and your branch for being so kind and helping me!

The ATM has been down for three days now. Any time I’ve gone to the ATM it’s down. Avoid this location.

Regions Bank tellers are all generally pretty rude, but today's teller was also racist! While withdrawing MY money from MY personal bank account, the teller looks at me and asked "due to the amount you're withdrawing, what do you do for a living"? None of your business, that's what! Regions will be loosing both my personal and business accounts along with other family members accounts. They will also be hearing from my lawyer soon.

It Saturday and we have been in line for almost an hour now and it's taking forever. There is 30 or more cars in the drive thru. The line is barely moving and its 90 degree weather with no air. This is ridiculous
