N Anniston is the worst run store I have ever been in. It's always a mess. Items are scattered through the aisles and not in the proper places. Most associates avoid helping anyone. We purchased an 18.5 cu ft freezer online a few days ago, for same day delivery, and the store sent 1 person to deliver it. That freezer weighs almost 180lbs. Today, I purchased a miter saw and some other items. An associate had to hunt down the saw that was showing many in stock because there were none in the display location. After getting it down off the top rack, the box was opened. I didn't take everything out...just inspected the box to make sure it didnt look damaged. I opened it when I got home to find a used saw, covered in saw dust. Needless to say, it will be exchanged tomorrow, which is a huge hassle. We have continued to go to this location because it is 10 minutes from our house. But after today, we will drive further to go to Oxford where my parents and friends go due to them being better run and having better quality products. This is the only Lowes location I have been to that seems like a disaster, so I believe it is just a poorly run store.

I am remodeling a 3000 sq ft house. I have spent $1,000's upon $1,000's of dollars here. Today I came in looking at dishwashers. Dawson, who was on appliances didn't know how long it would take for installers to come out, he didn't know the difference in the different manufacturers and had to go check if the dishwasher was in stock I picked out. He stayed gone... For quite a few minutes, ,,, in the meantime Cathy, from flooring, who is AWESOME, saw me and came to assist me I showed her the dishwasher I had picked out. We went to the register she was processing my order, we had gotten the hoses required for that model and here comes Dawson, with another customer. He ask Cathy to stop what we were doing to ring his customer up. Cathy and I both just looked at each other. He stood there waiting on her to stop my order to ring up his customer. She did.... and Lowe's has now lost my business. Shame shame shame on you Dawson. You need to be re-trained.

Lowes on McClellan Blvd in Anniston, Alabama uses a third party delivery service called Spirit Logistics. The delivery team must have a choice whether to deliver your purchased appliance if they want to or not. My delivery appointment was set for 6/12/22 12pm-4pm. At 12:30 I received a call that I didn't hear followed by a text that they were sitting outside the front of my house and that I had until 12:45pm to call them back. Because I was told by the sales person at Lowes that the delivery team would contact me about 30 minutes prior to arriving I thought I had a minute to step out to the store. I pulled back in my drive way at 12:33pm and at that time called them back because there was no one in front of my home. First call to the Spirit led me to holding for 3mins, so I hung up and listened to the voice mail they left. Second call made at 12:39pm, I stayed on hold until 12:43 at which time the lady told me I'd missed the 12:45 lead time. I then asked her if that meant they would be here at 12:45 or leave at 12:45, because they weren't here and besides it was only 12:43. She then realized they didn't stay like they were supposed to and tried desperately to get them to come back to deliver my refrigerator. They REFUSED and at 1:25pm took it the 10 miles back to my local Lowes store!! Lowes customer service feels horrible and tried desperately to make them bring it after they got back to the store with it. But the delivery team refused. Not sure why they're using a company that obviously don't care about Lowes or their own business. Now I'm having to take a day off from work to make sure I'm here this time. Will definitely consider going down the road to Home Depot next time I need to make another $1000+ purchase!! Some kind of compensation is due! Lowes customer service lady, Shae, was more than helpful and really tried to get the team to come back out. Just not sure why Lowes being the huge company that it is, uses a third party company that doesn't care about Lowes or the people that shop there!!!
