“This particular location of Winn-Dixie is just off of Interstate 20. I have to say that I am a fan of Winn-Dixie. The supermarket chain did decline for a few years there, but finally they did a turnaround and started coming back to their former glory. The best part of Winn-Dixie's turnaround was in their meat department. First, for a supermarket that proudly called itself the "Beef People," Winn-Dixie lost track of their vision and started selling cheaper grades of meat. Their beef went from USDA Choice to simply USDA Inspected. If you don't know, USDA Choice is a superior grade, second to Prime, and USDA Inspected is almost always a terrible piece of meat. I guess Winn-Dixie finally realized the error of their ways and put their focus on USDA Choice cuts of beef. They still have those cheap USDA Inspected, but those are the less focused. Kudos to Winn-Dixie for this turnaround and I would definitely recommend this particular location of Winn-Dixie.”
